My Lakers are going to win the Wild Wild WEST!
 
The Lakers are THEE hottest team in the NBA as they are absolutely sizzling right now. Kobe and Gasol is a fantastic 1-2 punch! The only weakness right now is rebounding and that should be shored up when Andrew Bynum comes back from injury...
 
I know I'm certainly not the first to say it, but, I'm predicting a throwback to the 80's Finals re-match...Lakers vs. Celtics!
 
In all seriousness, who knows how to order tickets for the playoffs ahead of time? How do I get on the list?

I love your team with the addition of Bynum look out...Suns are a fraud, so are the Warriors. Hornets and Spurs are your main challengers.  Mavs suck too.

Jazz have no road team, Lakers are the Beast of the West.  No question about it with Bynum back.

If I were you, I would lay futures bet on Hornets or Lakers to win the West right now.   I see no other team coming close....Maybe Spurs or dark horse Rockets.

I like the Hornets and love what they're doing. Chris Paul is my favorite player who is NOT a Laker (I've got him on my fantasy team  ). However, I think in the playoffs they will be exposed and won't make it past the 2nd round, possibly even the 1st round.

You are right, Suns are a fraud and I think tonight's game proved that getting Shaq was a mistake. He doesn't fit into their scheme of things at all.

The Warriors? Certainly not worried about them...

The only team that I think might have a shot against the Lakers would be the Spurs. They are not healthy now, once they get healthy (Parker back) and with the addition of Kurt Thomas to clog the middle they will be one of the teams to beat as they usually are.

Jazz is playing better on road as of late winning 6 of last 7, besides team made western conference finals last year.

beware of the Jazz. If you ask me, they are in the same spot the Spurs were in this time last year. Playing great, and nto getting the respect they deserve.

Of those 6 wins they beat the Sonics, Grizzlies, Wizards, and the Clippers...the one loss was to the Kings. Are you impressed by this?

yeah.. my suns don't match up against the Lakers at all.. tough to admit 'cause i hate the fuckers.. Barring any injuries, I think the west IS the lakers to win.  Although the champs can D-up against anyone, they don't match up well against the Lakers either, neither does anyone else in the west for that matter.. Bynum, Odom, Gasol, Kobe, weak-link at the PG.. but the bench.. what a bench... Vujavic, Radmonovic, Farmar, Walton, Turiaf....

They've been drinkin' Phil's punch and it's loaded..

still gotta have hope that Shaq will find his place and make the Suns a tougher team.. If he can take some of the load of STAT and get Diaw to throw the ball down instead of laying that weak ass euro shit up on the rim, we might be able to challenge.. IF we can get home court..

How about the Lakers with Pau Gasol? They are now 7-1 (6-1 on the road) since Gasol joining the team...

No need to be sorry...I guess we just have different philosophies.

Personally, I'm impressed with ROAD wins against quality teams like the Suns and Magic...two teams the Lakers have beaten on the road since Gasol's arrival.
