Why do i have this feeling that the spread will come into play here in the last half minute of the game ??

The west coast factor can come into play tonight, remember the knicks a couple of weeks ago losing to sacramento after a west coast trip?

what I mean by difficult is that it's a conflict. Acela is one of those angles I never question cause of it's successful run. Since the acela play is the opposite of my tip, I'm just gonna play the tip. If Boston runs away with this one, I'll be left smacking my own head.

i love these types of angles... especially the denver / utah /  high altitude factor against unrested teams....definately worth a small unit play for the spirit of it

I always read your threads and I appreciate your insight, however I think you are very wrong on todays Mavs game.  This team is finally starting to get things rolling again and it would not surprise me if the Mavs get the win.  just my 2 cents.  GL

Just to clarify CrazyMilkMan, this is not on back to back nights against Boston and NY but rather back to back metings, meaning with no other games in between the Celtic and Knick games. Is this correct?

So what gives? One reveals the Celtics are 9-0 vs the league since 1996 and now another person points out that Boston is actually 17-6.

Personally I think people are spending too much time on this game when there's a big slate of games tonight without 2 really good teams playing each other....and it's not even a b2b...And my first thought was, WOW that's a lot of points...I would leave it alone, or atleast take a deeper look into the quality of the teams that have rd the Acela train...I would say this Dallas tm could be the best tm to do this trip in quite a while...

If the line was set at -4 and bet up to -6 or 6.5 at some place, then I would definitely be concern but since it opens at 6 and remains there against a live "brand name" dog, its a good spot to back the Acela angle.  Heck I've been tailing this angle since I first found out about it at Covers 7 years ago and it has treated me well.

Because it's one of those angles/trends/whatever that you really can't put a foot in.

I've been betting for 6+ years now and I can say that for some strange reason this is one angle/trend/system that throws out every other stat/trends available. The first time I dared to play the angle was way back in 08. The newly formed Boston team minus KG was a 2.5 home dog to the streaking Spurs. Rest days were there before the Spurs went to NY and before playing in the Garden. Boston ended up edging the Spurs by 8 in that afternoon game. I never bothered playing against the spread since then.
