Parlay - Los Angeles Lakers ML & Chicago Bulls ML (-130)
Despite improving in many defensive stats and slowing down their overall pace, the Suns still struggle with rebounding. They've played well for a stretch but they're about to hit a road block in LA. Both teams are rested so I expect a defensive battle with the Lakers able to maintain a lead throughout as they will likely dominate the glass. 7.5 is a few too many points in a low scoring game, but I like my chances with them to catch a straight up win. Bulls are on a back to back, but they were able to coast in the 4th quarter yesterday as they had built up a sizable lead against the Pistons. Even though this is the middle game of a back-to-back-to-back (and teams haven't fared well ATS in this spot so far this season) they have no real look ahead angle as they're set to play an imploding Wizards team at home tomorrow. I expect another focused effort from the Bulls defensively tonight in which they hold the Timberwolves to another poor shooting night (last night they were held below 40% in Toronto and only made 6 buckets in the fourth quarter). Again, I'm not comfortable laying almost 7 on the road but I feel confident that they'll at least come away with a straight up win. Look at this as a 7 point teaser that's getting -130 odds.. good deal if you ask me.
