Jwheels I believe your trying to be helpful, but....How can a unit be a certain amount of units? A unit is a unit. to determine a unit size really depends on your bankroll. A unit size should be 1% to 2% max of your bankroll.
You say most guys bet a 100.00 a unit. ..WOW!!! They wish they could all be so lucky.
Yesterday AJ bet a total of 18 units, which would make someone who practices proper money management, have a bankroll of $90,000.00 at 2% max a play. Great for you if you have a bankroll of $90,000.00. But to tell someone (Blackberry) to bet $100.00 dollars a unit is very misleading.
The correct response should have been, bet 1 to 2% of your entire banroll for a unit size. Just don't want Blackberry to have a bad day and burn his roll like a flame in the wind.
Jwheels, money management is key in being a successful sports investor. Not bashing, but if your gonna give advice, make sure your advice is helpful in the response of someones question. Peace. ![]()
Sound advice. . .
