Time to wrap up a badass week with a solid Sunday. I started posting Monday and have netted positive units on moneylines in all but one of the days. More of you are catching on but still not too many, which is fine. You will eventually wonder why you are not making easy money by tailing. I'm here to help all of us get some coin and drain the books of their cash. Here's a recap of yesterday:
2-2 +0.52 UNITS
* Chicago White Sox +2.3 UNITS
* Cincy -2 UNITS
* Baltimore +2.22 UNITS
* LA Angels -2 UNITS

Hey everyone,
Time to wrap up a badass week with a solid Sunday. I started posting Monday and have netted positive units on moneylines in all but one of the days. More of you are catching on but still not too many, which is fine. You will eventually wonder why you are not making easy money by tailing. No wasting time, so here we go with the first play:
* NY Mets -125
I don't like what the Milwaukee bats are doing right now. Pretty much the entire team is in a slump save for Gabe Kapler and Jason Kendall. On top of it, they are facing Perez, who has established himself as one of the better arms in the game. He is even better historically against the Brew Crew, with an XERA of 2.67 against them the last three years. Suppan is a decent pitcher, but he is outmatched today. I know the Mets don't have Reyes, but it's not enough to make them a no play. The line should be at -150 or higher.

I'm not thrilled about this juice, especially since I think the line was more affordable earlier in the day, but I will gladly lay here. The Indians will avoid the sweep here. Lee is back to old form and has always pitched well against the A's as was evidenced by his first start this year. Meanwhile, Gaudin has gotten rocked by the Tribe. This might be the starter the Indians need to kickstart the offense a little.

53percent -- What does that mean -- Perez is a douche? Do you have a personal history against him or are you trying to tell me there is a conspiracy to doctor his statistics and make them look better than what they really are? Sure, Milwaukee could score some runs today, but I expect the Mets to score more. As you can see, I am doing money lines, not over unders.

AJ and Badlands -- thanks guys, much appreciated.

I'm just not feeling this line as far as the starting pitcher matchup is concerned. Neither pitcher is great, but Marquis has gone out of his way to pitch poorly against the Phils in recent history while Moyer is a little better than usual against the Cubs. No Victorino and Rollins doesn't help the Phils but Jenkins and Werth are more than capable to replace them in spite of Bruntlett's horrific hitting.

I'm not seeing Detroit's record getting any better just yet. This is a battle of an average pitcher in Rogers versus a premier pitcher in Vazquez. Javier has been money against the Tigers in recent years and should be getting an even higher price than this. Also, Detroit's pen is still a little tired (nevermind, sucky) from overuse in the early season.

I'm not sure I could go with any of those teams laying the juice they're laying, especially the Indians, but good luck. Hope you have a good day as I'm not against any of them.

I respect that and understand the premise of what you are saying. That's why I don't let any subjective opinions creep into my capping. My picks are strictly generated by spotted value as identified by my own created line.

duche is just a mispelled personal attack meant to indicate i believe his current numbers are not indicative of the actual caliber of pitcher he is but smarter people than me made im a moderate favorite so i must be in the minority

Looking good so far, guys. Phils just took the lead. If they can hold on, I should take 3 of 4 on the early slate.
I only have one other play the rest of the day:
* San Diego +129
This line should be very close to even. The books are basically giving you 29 cents for free. Maddux and Billingsley are both amazing against these respective teams, the lineups are eerily similar in production overall and so are the bullpens for that matter. Take the books gift without thinking twice.
