if cole keeps it close ( 1 or 2 runs ) the philly bats wont get shut out, at least I dont think so ( just my own opinion )

You dont live in Philly so obviously you're out of the loop.  Manuel has NOT named a closer for this series.  His last words were, "you'll see whoever I send out there".

Conventional wisdom is it'll be Madson in a 1-2 run game.

Why would anyone take the OVER in this game?  Hamels was LIGHTS OUT last postseason (and has pitched disinterested all season, which is why his numbers were down), and Cook has been very good all season.

What would possess a bet on the over in this matchup?  I like the under in all 3 games today.  Runs hard to come by.

If guys like Howard and Utley know that pitch is coming they're the type of hitters that can send that ball over the right field fence in a hurry. Hard to do with their heads up their asses though...
