A tremendous 1-4-0 day yesterday! LOL. Lost two games in extra innings. Won my lone game thanks to a Grand Slam in extra innings. Got whooped in one & almost made a comeback in the fourth loss. Just one of those days I guess.
1:05pm: Florida Marlins ML (+103) for 2 units
Josh Johnson is a talented pitcher. He may be a future Josh Beckett, as in he'll be traded soon. Decent numbers against the Brewers, a 3.95 ERA & .269 Opposing Average but this is more of a bet against Dave Bush. Bush deserves to have a 1 in that loss column. He's seen the Marlins three times in his career, going 1-2 with a 6.88 ERA, 1.41 WHIP & .318 Opposing Average.
2:05pm: Seattle/Texas Over 9.5 (+102) for 2 units
King Felix takes to the mound for the Mariners. Rangers roughed him up for six runs on ten hits in six innings on the 4th. At the Rangers Ballpark, he's 2-5 in eight starts with a 5.60 ERA, 1.58 WHIP & .279 Opposing Average. Did you know May is also Felix's worst month, going 5-11 with a 6.03 ERA, 1.64 WHIP & .306 Opposing Average. Matt Harrison goes for the Rangers. He's started against the Mariners twice, compiliung a 6.97 ERA, 1.94 WHIP & .349 Opposing Average. Yes, he's thrown fourteen straight scoreless innings but all fourteen were against the White Sox. In his other 21.2 innings, he's given up nineteen runs. This isn't Zach Greinke.
I have a total play I want to make on the New York-Toronto game but I have to wait to see the lineups. Way too many variables. Will Jeter play? Will Hill play? Will Toronto use a lefty lineup & bench Snyder & Overbay for a 2nd straight game? I'll try my best to get it posted prior to gametime.
