Taking UNDER 9 with Verlander on the mound against a K prone Texas team. Verlander's 1.38 K/IP ratio should help him go thru the Texas lineup. I also expect Harrison to continue having good ball control against this Detroit team that is not getting a whole lot of walks. Harrison has only one walk allowed in last 3 starts (23 innings). Also, the hpu in this game is Scott Barry and he's been all strikes this season. That should help both pitchers.
Also taking the UNDER 9 in Washington. These two squads are 4-0 UNDER combined in L vs L matchups this season. In games played @ Washington, the Nationals are hitting .221 vs L and .280 vs R. As for the Pirates, they are .206 vs L on the road. Lannan and Maholm can really pitch when in form.
Jamie Moyer is way too experienced to keep getting rocked like that. The Reds are 5-6 YTD vs lefty starters and they are struggling offensively right now with a .166 batting average in last 4 games. Harang has been solid for the Reds this season and very good in bounce back situation allowing 2 earned runs in 14 innings pitched (2-0 UNDER) after allowing 5+ earned runs. UNDER 10
