I'm on the Reds ML too.....between bullpens and rain, I've been getting crushed....this game is over....I lose again.....trust me....game is over.

A game is SUSPENDED if a regulation game is called while an inning is in progress and before the inning is completed, and the visiting team has scored one or more runs to take the lead, and the home team has not retaken the lead......( Rule 4.12)


So if the game is suspended and continues tomorrow are all the ML bets void for tonight?

I've got the Cards in a parlay with the Yanks so I'm hoping for a cancel. But that would suck for Cinci backers. I bet they try to play again, but weather is pretty severe. They might have to wait a long time to try to play another half inning or more.

They really should create a rule to suspend games and complete them the next day when possible. Because this creates too much politics given the situation.

If suspended, I think ALL bets are off - ML, RL and Totals.

son if u are a gambler u better not be reading the rules of major league baseball to get some guidance...vegas rules and or your bookmakers rules are the ones that matter...not MLB rules.....regardless of what MLB does if this game diesnt continue tonight they will not count the top of the 6th and st louis wins and runline and totals are cancelled

Just heard Reds broadcasters say if game can.t be played tonight they will resume before scheduled game tomorrow.

Cincy had plenty of chances to score....too bad they had to wait until the 6th to finally bring a few in...btw, they were just trying to get in 5...they're calling this...otherwise, they would have called it way earlier when they first saw lightning..lightening.....whatever.

but it says:

If a match is played on a different date or at a different venue than originally scheduled, all wagers will be cancelled and refunded.

Say the game picks up tomorrow the game would technically be played on a different date, could cancel the bet.  I think they picked up a Tampa Bay game a week or so back on the next day after it was suspended the night before.

Games do not have to go full regulation play for wagers to be considered Action. Games are official for wagering purposes according to the following:

  • Baseball Moneylines after 5 innings (4.5 innings if home team is winning)
  • Baseball Totals/Runlines after 9 innings (8.5 innings if home team is winning.
