PHI/NYM - UNDER/8 {-110}
Lee will continue to dominate. The Mets burned their bullpen on Sunday . . . which might lead one to think that Phil will rip their pitching for 20 runs today. I do not believe this will be the case. Cliff Lee is in cruise control. Practically nobody has, as yet, been able to hit him. Thus, PHI will likely be content to lolly-gag their way to the finish line; while Lee secures a shutout victory.

Milwaukee's bullpen has had to work way too many innings over the most recent two games of this four-game series; leaving Gallardo 'working w/out a net' for this fourth and final tilt. Four-game series (not unlike doubleheaders) tend to result in 'a split'. Milwaukee is also road-worn and longing for their home beds. There are a lot of variables which should factor into DC's favor.
(H) TOR [-1.5] +160
Tampa has beaten Halladay on two previous occasions this season. Are they really going to best him a third consecutive time? I dearly doubt it. Helping Halladay's bid today, is the travel by the Rays, coupled w/ Tamp getting their bats shutdown by the Rangers on Sunday.

In Buchholz most recent home start at Fenway, the Red Sox lost to the Tigers, 2-0 . . . ouch. Though they don't seem to win there very often, this marks the first meeting of these two ball-clubs this season. I think I'll take my chances on the visitors. An emotional letdown following that weekend series against the Yanks, may very well be forthcoming. Freddy Garcia can pitch. This 10.38 ERA Garcia currently sports, is just the sort of thing that gets bookies licking their chops. . . . Those FUX(!)
(H) MIN [-2.5] +???
Though the Orioles have won 3 of their previous 4 road games, their woeful season-long road record is bound to catch up w/ them. This is the prefect time for said crash back down to Earth. The Tweenx just wiped their ass w/ the Royals, and are likely feeling a sense of urgency. This AL Central race is far from settled. Minnesota is probably mindful of that fact. While this is Minny's first home-game back from the road, this will be the O's seventh road-game. These two met up for a two-game set in may. Those games were in Baltimore, and the Orioles claimed victory in both contests. Thus, there is a revenge factor to this series as well. Lastly, Baker has Tillman completely out-classed.
(A) CLE -102
The Home Team has won the opening game of every series these two have played this season (4). Essentially, tonight I'm playing on the odds that this pattern will see it's course run out.
