Bedard has been consistent lately allowing 2 runs lasting 5 to 6 innings in each of his last 4 starts. He is looking for his 1st win.

Blanton is 0-3 with a 7.39 ERA in 5 starts at Angel Stadium this season.

The Angels have been shut out 3 times at home this year 2 of them by the LASTros. Angels are 6-8 sofar vs lefties and 1-5 on Mondays.

Padres -107

With Kemp, Crawford, Ellis and Ramirez out and a rookie on the mound I like Padres here. Padres have already swept Dodgers in LA this season. Dodgers are 8-11 sofar against lefties.

Stults struck out a career high 12 in 8 innings while holding the Mariners to 1 run and 3 hits in a no decision his last time out. He already has 50 strikeouts this season, 5 shy of his career best total reached last season.

Fife started for the Dodgers on April 21 and hasn’t pitched since because of a sore shoulder.
