Your relatives you are stuck with; but all others you may like, dislike, or ignore as you choose.
Season, 33-36-12 - - $69.66, -.0003% RoR [versus average line of +102]
5/29 - $298 each – flat bets - [3% of bankroll, 10,000 +/- profit/loss]
FG – Rockies +112 – Gray/Brubaker
Comment: What goes around comes around. Dogs have been slaughtered the last couple weeks but that is never a permanent condition. I will continue with what I know and what I believe. In this battle of uglies pitching should be the name of the game and Gray is the better side of that. I was going to go F5, but that line is not open yet and I have to get going (busy morning). Also, the line on the Rockies is dropping and may be negative by the time it opens.
Definitely more later. Today is a big card (17 games) with plenty of opportunity.
Note to JEG: I don’t know what is up with Bumgarner. 3 lousy starts to open the season. 5 outstanding and now 3 more upchucks. Is he on some sort of menstrual cycle?
Now and then even a BLIND squirrel can find an acorn

@barneybeans "Did you say Cubs for WS? You mean they'll get tickets?" That's about what I told him. You don't get to the WS beating lefties. Cubs 12-3 versus lefties so far, but that is only 30% of their schedule to date and likely to go down. 45.7% versus 70% of your schedule does not send you to the WS.
Those Chicago guys.... I think the highlight of the Cubs' season took place a few days ago vs PIT

backdoor is hitting the Giants at the right time, great odds when they play the Dodgers and they might be ahead of them in standings after today, Sunday might be a good day to take Dodgers on the r/l, after we see who is pitching of course but last 2 games were not about pitching.
I have read that pitching is not any different than it was before, in the time period I grew up 2 teams were in the playoffs, which was the World Series and you had half the teams, usually teams had 2 good pitchers or 3, Balt. had 4 20 games winners one year and having 4 good pitchers was not out of the question quite a bit. The Dodgers had a year where Koufax and Drysdale had 44 starts each and 2 other pitchers started every game for them pitching over 300 innings each I believe.
So baseball after the 3rd or 4th expansion started to get water down teams to we are at the point now where players can last many years after they are not really very good anymore, and today pitchers are not even close to what they used to be and never will be again unless they go back to the amount of teams way back when.
