As for the Oakland bullpen, what's there not to like about it? Ross looked pretty dynamic last night in his major league debut - awesome good fastball and solid breaking pitches. Their bullpen has the 3rd lowest ERA in the majors and is tied for first in BAA at .191. Baltimore's pen is sporting a 6.04 ERA and is in complete shambles with Gonzalez on the DL, although you can argue that given with his inability to close this season. Baltimore's best pitcher out of the pen has been Will Ohman whose last name describes the feeling one should feel if he comes in with the pressure on. Johnson has had location problems and Meredith too.

Slightly material of course, but Baltimore hasn't won in Oakland since 2007, a string of 7 losses having been outscored 39:15.
