Let me see i&#x27;m trying to think back that far, i&#x27;m still trying oh yeah that would be 1954 and they weren&#x27;t even the San Fran Giants they were the New York Giants.  Since 1954 at least the Tigers have won a couple of World Series.   It will probably be 2054 before the GIants win another.

Who gives a shit with this 1954 or 1984....how about last 10 years?  Tigers are a very good time that underperformed 3/4 of the season and if they weren&#x27;t in the worst division in baseball they wouldn&#x27;t be here.  Cabrera is one of the best in the game and that starting rotation is one of the best.  They will all need to throw at least 7 innings to win this thing as their bullpen is more suspect than the Tigers workout regimen.

If detroit happens to lose game 1, that is an incredible mental blow to the Tigers who are relying heavily on Verlander to win his games....just like you, as a tigers fan are. He can be beat....6 times on the road in fact.
