An excuse for what? I don't have the Tigers sweeping the Giants. I like them in 5 or 6. I like the makeup of the Giants team. Very strong bullpen...and timely hitting. The fans are passionate just like Tigers fans. I'm 26 and haven't seen my team win it all yet. I like their chances this year....just like you like the Giants chances because they won it in 2010. Lincecum was the key pitcher for the Giants that season...just like I think the key for the Giants will be Vogelsong.

Wasn't excuse by me...just knowing what he said is all.
I have one more question what the f..k other than getting the odd game in the series (that Verlander will win back tonight) has the All Star game got to do with the first game of the World Series. Absolutely nothing. Lets let Verlander do the talking tonight and shut these San Fran bandwagon fans up. Your wasting your breath with these San Francisco fans as they are probably wasting their breath on us. LETS GO TIGERS![]()

You are correct. Now the San Fran Giants won the World Series in 2010. Now before that how long was it since they won their last championship. Let me see i'm trying to think back that far, i'm still trying oh yeah that would be 1954 and they weren't even the San Fran Giants they were the New York Giants. Since 1954 at least the Tigers have won a couple of World Series. It will probably be 2054 before the GIants win another.

All the pressure is on Detroit. Giants just came back from 2 series in which they were written off for dead. what could they be possibly scared of? what could they possibly lose? they're going up against the best pitcher in the league with the Tigers in a MUST win situation....in my opinion.
If detroit happens to lose game 1, that is an incredible mental blow to the Tigers who are relying heavily on Verlander to win his games....just like you, as a tigers fan are. He can be beat....6 times on the road in fact.

The goal for me as a Tigers fan is to get a split in the first two games...either Game 1 or Game 2. I have just as much confidence in Fister as I do Verlander.
