Hey don't laugh as Fatspathia has been known to lay eggs and as you seen you don't need to give these Twins too much of an opening.  I think that MIN +1.5 at plus money is a very good value play.  Twins lost many games in NY on a walk off hit or homer.  So a one run score is highly possible.

C.C. had to start on short rest multiple times last season for the Brewers towards the end. He was tired and worn out. It's amazing how he lasted. He also only had one start. Try not to judge a players postseason success on such a small sample size.

Ummm I was talking about this year... he is hit or miss.  Look at his last start for 20 wins.  Typical CC as he very overrated.  That being said NYY likely will win hence the big ticket price.  BOL!

Hit or miss? I'll take that as a joke. He is an ACE. An ACE isn't hit or miss.

He gave up 13 runs in 80 IP  before his last start and hadn't lost since July. In those 11 starts he went 9-0. I wouldn't call that hit or miss.

Gee no surprise you live in New York.  CC was no where near an ace for a vast majority of this season.  People were fading him every start around here.  He got hot down the stretch... great for him.  But he is no where near as good this year as he has been in years past and I am not certain that he is a true ace.  There were many times when NYY were on a losing skid that he could not stop the slide.  That is what an ace does.  I am not saying that the Twins have an ace but I am saying be careful laying -250 plus on CC Fatsabathia!  He has been known to lay an egg.  If you take you homer googles off you might note that.  BOL on whatever you play!

His worst start was his very first of the season and as a Yankee. After that, he only had 7 losses in 33 starts.

Show me a game where this is true. Itll be pretty hard when you have a team that won 103 games and a pitcher with a 19-8 rec 3.37 era.

no playoff game should be at +250 ,  especially one against a team that has half its lineup smoking hot , and the rest believing they are destined.

I'm not betting on the Yankees once this postseason. And.. how is thinking the best team in baseball w/ C.C. on the mound is going to win  aganst the Twinkies and Duensing being a homer?

Reread what you just wrote and think about it.  You are right it could never happen.  Upsets NEVER happen in baseball.  I bet your bookie just smiles from ear to ear everytime that you call.  It is this exact mindset that created Vegas and made it the multi-billion dollar industry it is.  Again BOL I will not respond again is clearly I am not getting through.

If ML is 200+ on the Twins it's a play for me.  They have won 17 of the last 21.

plus you ignored me  when i asked for a start where C.C. didn't show up when the yankees were on a "losing skid"...there longest losing streak this year was 3 games

For the record... NYY has had 1 five game losing streak, 1 four game losing streak and 4 three game losing streaks and multiple (I am not going to count it out for you) back to back game losing streaks.  I know CC was personally responsible for the following:

04/27/09 could not stop a three game losing streak;
05/02/09 he started a five game losing streak;
06/11/09 he could not stop a three game losing steak;
do I really need to go through the rest of the months?
 
It appears to me it happened at least once a month where he could not be the stopper.  But hey what do I know I am not a NYY homer.  I only use cold hard facts.  Now I am seriously done because this is going no where.
