Did Charlie tip his hand last night?

Sure seemed like a desparate move to bring in Oswalt and not Lidge. Why would he do that?

He has more of a feel for his team than anyone else, and I think he tipped his hand last night. Just my opinion but curious to see what you fellas think about it.

Hindsight is 20/20, I support Manuel&#x27;s Move to use Oswalt for the possible many extra innings of relief pitching and use Lidge when they had a lead. Oswalt pretty much shut-down the Giants last game, who he figured could do it again.

Cool, we&#x27;ll see.  I like Charlie, just was really surprised he brought in Oswalt.  I&#x27;m a huge Stros fan, and I had a bad feeling about that move.  I admit I&#x27;m biased, but I did not feel Oswalt lost the game last night.  I think the Giants are just playing really stellar ball right now and Charlie knows it better than any of us.  To be clear, I&#x27;m not so sure Lidge does much better.  Anyways, its been a great series so far, should be another great game tonight.  &#xD;&#xA;BOL

Charlie managed poorly last night . Not sacrificing Werth over to third with Rollins at bat was flat out bush league managing .... ... Considering Rollins did nothing in his previous at bats and left a bushel of runners L.O.B

IMO, the only thing Oswalt did to lose the game last night, was give Uribe something good( on what I think was a 1-2 pitch) A hanger. Uribe would have swung at anything right there. ANYTHING.

Manuel I think made the right move for same reason as post #2. He needed Lidge to close the game if they grabbed the lead.
