The name is Babel and i was put here to make you all some money. A little bit about myself, i've been capping and sports betting for years. I played D1 college baseball and have a great eye for the game. This is a great time in the season to make some real money in professional baseball and i've been killing the books lately. I have no affiliations I just wanted to share my success with the world. I'm going to be making 2 picks a day for 50 days. That's 100 picks total. My goal is to hit on 60% of them. At times I like to parlay big bets on heavy favorites but this has worked out well for me over the years. I'll update my record every day on this thread. Without further adu, i give you picks from Babel.
Day 1: June 14, 2010
Pick 1: Cardinals RL -1.5
Cardinals (Wainwright) v. Mariners (French)
French will get feasted on by the struggling cardinals offense, look for the cardinals to win by 4+. Wainwright will dominate the seattle offense.
Pick 2: Under 10 Brewers v. Angels
Randy Wolff matches up nicely and bounces back against the Angels in LA after a rough couple starts and Saunders continues to keep the brewers at bay. The Beer Makers rely on the long ball too much and Saunders doesn't historically give up too many homers. He has pitched very well in his last couple starts including a complete game last time out. Wolff tradionally pitches well after a rough outing, I like the brewers run line +1.5 but the safest pick is the under for this game. FOLLOW UP TOMORROW, and GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!

Day 2 - June 15, 2010
Pick 1: Phillies ML
Like this one a lot, Halladay is a gamer, period, and has been waiting for big games like this for years. Sabathia is a great pitcher but has always struggled in the playoffs and in big games. Sabathia also walks quite a few each time out, Halladay's command is unmatched. Phillies beat up on Sabathia in the playoffs a few years ago and I think they'll do just enough to get Halladay a win. I think Halladay will pitch an unflashy gem to get the win.
Pick 2: Padres ML
Latos has been on a tear for the Padres recently, 1.96 ERA in his last seven starts. He faces another young gun pitching well in Cecil, but an away game in San Diego, I just don't think the jays will have the offense without the DH in there. The Padres have been playing well, and have the stronger bullpen to hold onto the lead.
GOOD LUCK ALL! HOPE YOUR FOLLOWING!

Kershaw has been filthy on the road and Great American Park is a pitchers ballpark with long fences. He matches up against the reds rookie sensation leake, who's got some nasty stuff but I think is hitting the rookie wall. He's pitched a lot of innings and was suspect his last time out, don't let the record fool you. His walks and hits per inning, (WHIP) is a shade under 2 his last three starts. Dodgers take this one.
Pick 2: Cubs ML
The Cubs certainly haven't been impressive lately, but still have a lot of talent. Too much to drop two straight to the A's. Dempster hasn't gotten any run support out of his guys and I think that changes tonight at home. Gonzalez has been pedestrian and I think the cubs push just enough across tonight, the juice on Dempster at home is too good to pass up on this one.
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE, HOPE YOUR FOLLOWING. 2-0 TONIGHT!!!!! GOOD LUCK ALL!

Yeah, I agree. The Giants were able to figure Leake out the last time thru, and he probably won't get away with allowing all those base runners against a team like the Dodgers. As for Gio, he did not look sharp against those same Giants bats in San Fran. I think the Cubs will atone for their error-riddled game last night.

FYI, check out these stats from last year at Great American Park, https://espn.go.com/mlb/stats/parkfactor/_/year/2009 Great American Park received a 0.975 rating, anything under 1.000 means that pitchers have the advantage over hitters, the definition of "pitchers ballpark"

ATim Hudson and James Shields are going straight in the opposite direction. Shields has a 2.23 WHIP in his last three games along with a 11+ ERA. Hudson has a 1.23 WHIP and 3.00 ERA. Tampa is definitely the better team, but has struggled without the DH in the lineup. I think this will be a close one, but ATL pulls it out.
Pick 2: WHITE SOX RL -1.5
Buerhle will bounce back from a rough couple outings and pitch a great game against a pathetic pitt lineup. Ohlendorf has been OK but I think the pirate bullpen will give up a good number of runs in this one. White Sox by a 3+.
BOL!!! HOPE YOUR FOLLOWING, 2-0 AGAIN TONIGHT!!!

Pick 1: Atlanta ML

Pick 1: Padres RL -1.5 I love Leblanc, who comes in with a 1.47 ERA in his last 3 starts. He matches up with a good lefty in Matusz who has been one of the only bright points for the O's. I think the Pads playing at home and a horrible O's offense without the DH will lose by 2-3. Under 7 looks good, but I think Leblanc shuts them down and the Padres push a couple across at home.
Pick 2: Giants v. Blue Jays Under 8.5 The blue jays Marrow has been dominate lately with a .90 WHIP in his last three starts. Zito has been very good all year except his last couple starts has been scuffling. Marrow will hold a weak Giant offense to almost nothing and Zito will labor but keep the score low. Really think this one is good.
BOL TO ALL! HOPE YOUR FOLLOWING, 2-0 TONIGHT!!!! FIRST 10 PICKS ARE IN ON THIS 100 PICK GOAL. ENJOY THE GAMES, I HOPE AT LEAST SOME OF YOU ARE FOLLOWING THE PICKS.
