Got to take that series a game at a time. I have this feeling that the Phillies bats are about to erupt, this series could hinge on Myers performance in game 2. I've got a free ride there so I had to play it for 3 units. Phils struggled last trip to LA, but I think they can steal at least one out there this time. Should be one hell of a series for sure.

3rd - I don't let that stuff bother me, especially in this place where guys flex there muscles behind the screen. If somebody is that big of a bad ass they should step up to the plate and go out and help someone who can never pay ya back. Now that's manin up to me

Hey 3rd, I have a feeling Dodgers bats continue erupting. SO?
Well if that happens I guess I get a refund for my World Series tickets and collect 8 units on the Dodgers future bet.
I see this as a very even series, I already said that. Howard & Utley have not gotten it going in the postseason - yet. I think they will this series. I do think Hamels gets the W tonight, and if the Phils get the same effort from Myers as his last start (who knows with the Jeckyll & Hyde year he's had) this should go back to LA at 2-0 Phils.

instead of a phillies series bet, why not just bet a unit on each potential philly elimination game...maybe you wouldnt need to lay out 3 units

My reason - because I think the Phillies win this series.
Whatever happens in the first two games I'll be looking at the Phils at + money in LA for at least games 3 & 4 most likely. I bet the Phillies tonight because I really like them with Hamels on the mound, I'll evaluate again tomorrow. Couldn't pass on the series price of damn near even money.
When I made the Dodgers play it was because of the acquisition of Manny, the weakness of the NL west, and I knew if they got to the playoffs they could make some noise. Got the payoff last round with them and the Phils, this was worth it to me.
I'm making my stand with the Rays, that's where the money is to be made.
