Wow, I figured they were going to add 1 more name to the 161 card to make it a tad more interesting... but this fight makes 0 sense for Roy. Stipe just got finished by a guy outside the top 10 now.  Beating him does little to nothing.  His manager/he may b thinking a win here puts him as the only name hw with 4 wins in row (depending on Mark Hunt fight)   

If Mark Hunt beats JDS he is getting a title shot.  When Fab Beats Nog he is likely to be in line for a shot if Hunt loses.  All that this fight does for Roy is potentially get him a rematch with JDS.  Which is a fight he would have been able to get either way imo.  If I was him I think I would have went more of the Travis Browne/Barnett Route.  Atleast that way your engaging with a guy that was in the top 10 or has been around the top 10 for a great while.

He should be Stipe pretty easily imo, so I guess its a pay day... and dude is a fighter so I guess its doing his job.  But any HW at -1200 not named Fedor fighting some random Japanese guy isn't really a value pick imo.

But to answer ur question... I hope my buddy doesn't know my covers name because he does Stipe's nutrition and strength training.  But Stipe (even though he was a D1 wrestler) is a KO artist at this pt in his career.  He seems pretty 1 dimensional.  So if we were to list the heavyweights least likely to get KO'd it would be 1-2 Nelson-Hunt or Hunt-Nelson that being said... he also tends to gas quickly.  

I would give both the grappling and stand up advantage to Roy.  So as the fight goes on with Stipe getting tired and Roy;s cardio coming into play... the scales just tip more in Roy's favor (no pun intended) -1200 is a bit steep... but the dude almost has no way to win the fight imo.

Nelson -250 seems extremely low
I don't see anything stipe offers to put Roy in trouble.
I was expecting -500+

I doubt Miocic has anything that will put Roy in trouble but I really think he can stick and move to win a decision here.  Mitrione could have done it if he didn't get so aggressive and start trading like that. 

I'm probably going to bet Stipe but I'm worried it turns out like the Crocop fight, where he outworks Nelson and wins round 1, then slows down and Nelson finds the finish.

Also 8in I wouldn't call miocic 1 dimensional, landed Td's in 3 out of 4 UFC fights (didn't attempt any on de fries), round 1 of the Del Rosario fight didn't go his way so he took him down and beat him up badly.

You's is talking crazy, CTM. The only good fighter Stipe has faced is Struve and he got steamrolled. And he gassed. Roy is better than ever and he will not let Miocic get in his way of a potential title shot. I think this is a gimme fight to keep his spot in line

I was on Stipe vs Del Ros - A nice win but Del ros was coming off a big layoff.

Roy has KO'd better competition than he's even faced.

I'm thinking of making a huge play (for me) on Nelson/Edgar

This is the truth, Stipe Always has a punchers chance, but I do not see him beating Roy in any way. Nelson has face the higher level of competition and has never been finished in the UFC. Not even Carwin, Dos Santos, Werdum could finish Nelson. Once Stipe gets hit he is going to go back to what he knows, grappling. I just do not see him out striking Nelson, sticking and moving for three rounds. I do not see him getting Roy down pounding him out for three rounds. I think Roy will get the finish in the first or second round. After Nelson Lands a shot, Stipe will go back to grappling. 

I would follow Sawman's advice, & actually put Nelson in a parlay & moneyline if its -240.

Maybe part of it is that I'm kind of not giving much credit to Roy, he's got his nice 3-fight 1st round KO streak going but I don't buy it, he's still gotten his behind kicked over and over when he's up against a high level guy.  Too hittable and sloppy.

Stipe has good credentials but his cardio is so sketchy.  He was outlanding Struve with better strikes easily til he gassed round 2 and got his behind kicked.  I think he will do what Crocop was doing with Nelson but with some takedown attempts mixed in, if Nelson wins I think he comes from behind and does it late round 2 or round 3.  He hasn't been pushed at all in his last 3 fights though, I'm hoping he slows down more than usual and allows Stipe to grind it out late.

Roy's cardio sucks, we all know that. So if someone ever pushes the pace on him to gas him out I think they have a lot better chances of beating him. But he always has that knockout power, and that is the last thing to go.

Not sure why you'd say his cardio sucks. Seems like you just look at him and assume it.

His cardio is def not good. But is getting better. He gassed vs Mir during his walk out. But somehow the fatso can still go 3 rounds. Taking punches the whole time

I am not going off of what he looks like, I'm going by his performance in the past. My money is Big Country, I would put him in a parlay. Read my first post on this page.

Yeah I just seen my Uncle Roy is only -214 on Pinny if it stays right about here, I will probably put a good majority of my profit from Fuel 10 on him
