You morons who want to bet on the longshots in the biggest race of the year for 3year olds and hopeing a horse takes a spill,  or gets caught in traffic,  please Im begging you place your bets through me.  I would love to have your money.  This horse was so much better than the rest of this field, the trainer THE TRAINER selected the 20th post position.  He crushed the field in the races he ran in,  Kent moved his family to ride this horse, yet you PIGEONS bet on a 20-1 shot!!!!!  I mean HELLO!!! do you not like winning money.  A horse is set at 15-1,20-1 even 30-1 ML and beleive it or not someone actually sets this line for one reason, HE HAS A VERY SLIM CHANCE OF WINNING, especially against a big strong horse like BIG BROWN. Again I say   "USE YOUR HEAD"!!

Thanks for this info after the fact.  USE YOUR HEAD.  The favorites don't usually cover.  What is this?  The 3rd or 4th in 30 years?  Thanks noob.

I missed COMPLETELY on the derby but I can live with it.


I see the derby as a spot where a  HUGE score is a possibility.

If I want to make  5 bucks off a  2 dollar bet I can bet cubs and over on any summer day I please.

Dont get me wrong HATS OFF TO BB he is a BEAST

But for the derby I go for the score, or I lose my money no hard feelings.

no value in the Preak, most likely 4/5, will be a small field also.

this is why you bet the derby, but that horse was a monster, so be it.  the derby is best played in search of the big prize.  i'll book this clown's action every year at 5-2 on a horse with 3 career starts.  

of course, i'm also the guy who said in 2006 that the first horse to win the derby off a long layoff will do so at my expense, and barbaro did just that.

that being said, no one in that field has a shot at beating big brown in the preakness.  the belmont could be a different story though.  the rumor mill had dutrow laying off large change with locals. kind of funny that he announced ahead of time that he would be playing his horse with large amounts.  onto to the belmont.

ITS ABOUT MAKING MONEY,  IF WE ALL BET SMART AND BET ON THE RIGHT SIDE THERE WOULD BE NO LAS VEGAS!!!!!  So continue to do what the bookmakers hope you do, look for a "live" long shot (lol).  Even with all the information we had on this horse the trainer told you he was betting as much as they would allow him to be, and some people still said "oh I think Im going to bet on this 20-1 shot and hope BIG BROWN has a bad trip.  Do you realize you bet on a bad trip?  Really stop talking to me your dumb.

first of all dip shit, you aren't betting with vegas, you're betting against me and everyone else who didn't think big brown would win.  and most of us will gladly take your action.  secondly, i don't think many were betting on a "bad trip", most figured . . . if you can win at 10 furlongs in a field of 20 from post 20 at 5-2 . . . congrats, you have the best horse, but have you calculated your losses from bellamy road & curlin into your profits ?

So looking for "live long shots " is a bad idea now??

So the gomez/foley horse I had a 21-1 across yesterday was not as good as your 5-2 derby horse today??  You think the 5-2 money you made is any better then my 21-1 money 24 hours earlier??

I agree 100%.... preak BB looks IMPOSING....MAYBE..big maybe..a fresh horse robs him of TC  in belmont but would not be shocked if that does not happen and he takes it ..BB was a beast god bless him.
