Maybe TVG Betfair Officials will now give us a product that is less biased towards West Coast Racing.  Clearly what they've been doing didn't work out so well for them.

I bet if they focused their attention for this project to NJ it would have gotten done.

Really is a shame, might have been the shot in the arm this industry needed.

TVG was on a warpath yesterday. Bashing Cali all day. Did you see it ? Talking takeout %'s. All the hosts were praising the other tracks and bashing Hollywood.

Cal. tracks should be bashed! They offer 5-6 horse fields and then try to rape you again by offering a Superfecta too!  Money grabbing bastards and the fake shit is what kills the game.

Don't blame TVG/Betfair for being pissed they put alot of effort to get the Exchange wagering passed, now the racing assholes fuck them over.  Exchange wagering is the best thing that could happen to the horseplayer. I've been betting horses for 40 years and getting fucked because the only way to bet was with the tote board. Exchange betting let's me get a fixed price on my horse without worrying that the odds will drop while the race is being run. if Americans want to see how exchange betting works join the web site www.ehorsex.com  since Betfair is closed to the USA. I'm a member and since I've joined 18 months ago I've been making some good money betting the ponies. GOOD LUCK

The comments to the article were pretty entertaining.  Hopefully, some other states can partner with Betfair and make this happen.

exchange wagering will never happen in the US because of the fact that there will be corruption amongst track employees and trainers.  It will ruin the game....
Example would be a trainer offering 3-1 on 3/5 shot to win the race...only to lose and the trainer actually will make more money losing the race.


I beleive in exchange wagering but if it gets approved,  I will guarantee you trainers will be come millionaire overnight!!!

My exchange wagering is mostly offering higher odds on a short priced favorite. Many time I see a horse that is even money or less that has been a vet scratch a couple of weeks before and they run like shit. Most players don't check this little known angle that can make a big difference on how a horse will run. The closer the vet scratch is to the race the better the bet against the horse is. One time I had a Zito horse that was a Vet scratch three days before the race. The horse went off 4-5 and I offered 7-5 on the animal. Got takers at that price and collected a cool $250 on all the losing bets. By the way the horse ran 5th in a seven horse field. Exchange wagering is the way to go if you want to show a profit on betting horses. Of course all the betting today is in the exotic bets because most players can't make money betting win with the takeouts around the country.
