Let's not compare it to pedigree after pedigree from the last WM.
That was a sell and UT and HHH knew how to sell the ending properly.
This was a bad sell to have Punk take a three count in TWO straight PPV's. And this is a guy who held the title for 400+ days, losing to a guy who's wrestled what 6 times in ten years?
Bad booking/Bad selling...
Not sure how Punk could agree to that ending especially given he's the one losing the title first and then laying down at a second PPV.
It should be something like a Rock Bottom/Elbow and the Rock's own version of the GTS to pin a guy who's name was up towards the Hogan's and Sammartino's in terms of title reigns (and I use 'up there' liberally in that last sentence given Bruno's title run is unfathomable in the modern day).

I would like to see the rock vs cena in a steel cage TLC match for the wwe championship at wrestlemania. Now that would be way more entertaining than seeing the same thing we saw last year.

And does anyone really regard ADR's title as anything more than an Intercontinental Title at this point? It's simply NOT a world title in any way. Rock has the belt. Period. We know you merged the Feds. It happened 13 years ago. Time to merge the belts like you should have with Jericho when he had both. Enough is enough. Have one world champion and don't allow those belts to diverge. I don't care if Smackdown doesn't have its own champion. Raw and Smackdown are merging most of the time with rosters anyway.

Cena has a sh*t ton of talent. The fact that every match he's in goes the same way with his "Super Cena" persona gives him a bad rep and people hate that he's all about the PG Era (myself included), but he is something else. I remember seeing Ryback trying to pick up Tensai and he couldn't do it while Cena can lift guys like Big Show and Khali on his shoulders for a few seconds and flip them over. If you put these 2 guys side by side...Ryback just looks so much more powerful but Cena is the one that can do it all. I remember his debut and I wonder if they really ever expected him to be the face of WWE one day. Also love what he does with the Make A Wish foundation.
As for Rock...I'm sure everyone hates that he and Brock Lesnar can just get a monster check to have a match a few times a year but it's all about ratings and returns of old stars brings in ratings. I usually don't watch PPVs except for the big ones but I tune in for 2 reasons and that's because I can now make bets on every PPV and because The Rock was in it last night. Had those 2 factors not occured...I wouldn't have given a garbage about the PPV. I will tune in when stars return whether I have a bet on them or not. Just because I loved the late 90's early 2000's so much. I really don't care too much for the newer guys like Sheamus, ADR, Kofi, Sandow and guys like that. They bore me. I much rather see Rock, Jericho, Lesnar, Triple H, Cena and Punk doing storylines than those other guys. The only new guy I really like is Ziggler and The Shield storyline because I'm a sucker for factions.

I like it. That spinning one made sense when Cena was in his rap character but it definitely needed to go. But with I wonder what they'll put on it once he loses it.
