This is not the world as God planned it---the world that He said was "very good" (Gen. 1:31). It is the world in which man has spread his sin.

God has provided an alternative. "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Rom. 6:23).

It is not the world that God intends to establish (Is. 65:20).

IF God exists....why does he hate amputees?  Never has he healed one. He heals stomach aches, "cancer" but never a severed limb.  Be as productive praying to Zeus or the Tooth Fairy.

That is the exact opposite of what faith requires. As a matter of fact, it is the antithesis of a faith-based believer. You believe you have been given 'proof' thereby certifying your belief. That is not faith. 


What does faith require? Faith requires no reason to believe? How can you truly believe in something if you know nothing of it?

Not 'Know nothing of it'. But faith that that Bible's word is the divine word without any proof (outside of your own construction/understanding of what proof is).

I believe a god/gods of some sort exist. 

But there would be no way for me or anyone else to ever prove that it is the God of the Bible that exists. 

I still respect people's right to believe that though. As they do mine.

That doesn't mean I can't question a Christian for believing because they were the beneficiary of miracles. Because that conflicts with true faith.

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

The burden of proof is on you as the believer. Otherwise we are dealing in magical thinking. If you believed in unicorns it would be up to you to prove it...I can't prove there are unicorns because none have been found...same with God...it's a fairy tale. It helps you deal with the fact that you will be worm food when you die. It helps you become part of a pyramid scheme where you sell the afterlife to poor souls who don't know any better. The burden of proof is on you as the believer. Otherwise we are dealing in magical thinking. If you believed in unicorns it would be up to you to prove it...I can't prove there are unicorns because none have been found...same with God...it's a fairy tale. It helps you deal with the fact that you will be worm food when you die. It helps you become part of a pyramid scheme where you sell the afterlife to poor souls who don't know any better. They don't call it enlightenment for nothing.

  God gave us free will and freedom of thought ,use these two gifts wisely to change what we can . also love one another as you love yourself ----if we followed these tenets then we may acheive his presence....

Whats happened to this page? Anyways,

Unicorns wether they exist or not are testable. God isnt.

I will leave you with this puzzle, have a think about it and you

decide the MOST plausable answer.

The universe began to exist. when the universe began to

exist, time, space and matter began to exist. Prior to this

there was no space, time and matter, NOTHING.

Therefore, what caused the big bang?

a) Nothing caused the big bang, nothing caused energy, space

, time and matter, nothing. Luck doesnt even explain things

coming into existence uncaused, its magic. Then all the order

and design happened by luck, then on a lucky day, a lightining

bolt hit a pond on earth, then by luck, the first cell was formed,

then by more luck, cells became more complex, by pure fluke.

Or

b) A supreme being who is in another dimension (outside, space,

time and matter) caused space, time and matter.

You decide what is more plausable.

Like many atheists, (not knocking you or having a go), it appears you dont know the implications of latest cosmological studies.

Pres. Obama grew up here in Honolulu.  His mother met an African exchange student here at the East-West center in Manoa, Univ./Hawaii and they were married and she gave birth here.  The father soon left and returned to Africa and Obama's mom remarried an Indonesian from whom he has a half-sister.  In truth he was raised and influenced more by his grandmother who relocated here because their daughter was too busy with her humanitarian ventures in Indonesia. He attended a private school here and the rest is history.  He has about as much chance to be the anti-Christ as I do.  I know one thing for sure, you  go up to him and shoot him, he dies.  no joke.

The life, the ministry, the miracles, the death & resurrection of our Lord Savior Jesus Christ is the greatest shred of evidence.

Chris is where you and I and everybody else that is currently living don't want to end up being at after we die...it is not a good place to be. That is where all non-believers who reject Jesus Christ end up spending their eternity.

There is no evidence what so ever that any of that took place...you are entitled to believe in fairy tales if you choose. You can choose to love a God who has according to the Bible, killed many innocent people, including children. Not to mention the many crimes against humanity he authorized, according to the Bible.

It is silly and foolish to believe that there is a hot, burning place where we will all go to spend eternity. Hell is a relatively new place, created in the middle ages to scare the bejesus out of the sinners...so they could be blackmailed to give up more money, or the lives of their family members to go fight useless wars. 

You can choose to continue to discount the science and the facts. Your ignorance will keep you safe from learning the true meaning of life. You might as well believe in the boogyman..

What are you talking about there is no evience at all. Do you live under a rock? There is plenty of good evidence. The majority of historical scholars take the accounts of the new testament to be true. They also confirm the historicity of Jesus Christ.

Why are people so obsessed with the atrocities of the bible? You dont know the society and how bad morally they were, parents burning there children as sacrifices, incenst, the works, they were filthy bad. Cant God pass his judgement?

Just because you think it is follish to think thee is a hell, doesnt mean there isnt one.

I already told you to look at the implications of the latest scientific data on cosmology yet you ignore this.

I just find it very funny that young atheists claim science is their backbone yet they dont realise how the latest scientific points to a creator....

Why does everyone need to fight over religion? To believe or not to believe that is the question? One makes the decision to take faith for whatever reason they need at any given time in their life. I live life believing that there is no reason to judge people for their beliefs. Live your life in good measures and respect eachother and their opinions regardless. Consequentially; this is an argument/debate that can only be determined after death. Therefore, live your life in accordance with the people around you regardless of what you believe in. Free speech is a right that we all have as individuals, we should acknowledge that right.
