You guys need to graduate from tonic.......shit's gross and fucks w/ your stomach. Try your vodka on the rocks, just ask for two limes to muddle up...........SOOOOOO much better than vodka tonics.
Vodka tonic was my old drink.......then started always asking for vodka on the rocks "with a splash of tonic" but most bartenders are morons and just make you a V&T. Switched to on the rocks and have never looked back. Delicious and Nutritious!

Beer-Coors. While living in Houston, my roomate drove a beer truck for Coors. He got a real good deal on "damaged" cases, so every Thursday night, they'd let loose with a fork lift, no driver, just to plow into the stacks so we could get the "discount" Took care of beer for the weekend!
If I'm in a bar, I'll have a Coors and a Jack on the rocks. I do my own pouring into a chilled beer glass. Depending on the bar, I'll have single malt scotch, neat.
At home, during certain times of the year, I'll have Talisker single malt (from the Isle of Skye). It's pretty expensive, so Xmas, my birthday, anniversary, and visiting my Mother in Phoenix in September is about it. Always have a Patargas cigar with it.
Cheers, mate!

You might fall in love with Martinis.
I personally dont like them but my friend who loves vodka lives on Martinis.
Gotta have that splash of olive juice to complete it. he says the first one you ever have you will probably not like and it will take some heart to get it down. But he says by the 3rd one you will think its the greatest drink ever and you will crave them everytime you want to drink some vodka.
Gotta use top shelf vodka though.
