I didn't see it get reported once yesterday on fox or cnn/bbc, I know there was a manhunt on but that was just as bad of a tragedy.
I saw that video of the dad who was recording the blaze on his phone and then the explosion goes off as he was recording, Some people were reported saying it felt like the end of the world, Just terrible stuff.

The Shadow Government made up of the rogue shadows cast by evil politicians ordered the attack...
Or
The Illuminati is out to destroy the farming industry in America.
Or
Evil Mutant Robots from the future did it in an effort to kill someone in Waco that would have put down the Evil Mutant Robot rebellion of 2058...
We all know there is NOT ANY possibility of an accident... To concede that an accident could have happened screws up the Absolute for a FACT arguement it was an evil entity that is attacking America...
What do you think happened???

Ammonium Nitrate and Texas just don't mix. There was a whole boatload of it went up in 1947 in Corpus Christi. No, smartalecks, I wasn't there, I just remember seeing it on History Channel

Exactly 66 years ago this week, what remains the nation's worst industrial disaster occurred just southeast of Houston when a series of explosions rocked the huge waterfront petrochemical complex at Texas City.
At least 576 people were killed and 5,000 injured.
It began with a fire aboard a French freighter filled with 1,400 tons of ammonium nitrate fertilizer. The ship then exploded April 16, 1947, and it was followed by other blasts. A second ship, also filled with ammonium nitrate, eventually blew up as well.
An investigation determined the fire was started by someone smoking in the hold of French ship.
The blast blew two small planes out of the sky and caused a 15-foot tidal wave. Some 178 victims never were found.

Correction: it was Texas City, not Corpus Christi

Just thought I would get ahead of the stupidity of the paranoid conspiracist... Those that know everything horrendous that happens in America is a Super Secret plot to kill Americans and destroy our government...

A deeper look into the Texas story is the fact that anhydrous ammonia is not recognized by the United States (thru OSHA) as a flammable gas. This is due to its lower explosive limit having been established in the 1950's and not having been changed due to the National Fire Protection Association's undue influence. Also, due to this influence, the Dept. of Transportation's 'Emergency Response Guide' has failed to recognize the needed change, and it too lists anhydrous ammonia as a non-flammable gas. As a result, many firefighters have died and been injured over the past several years in various fertilizer incidents. Plus, since OSHA does not list it as flammable, the workers do not need to handle or store it as such, thus they are also at risk.

^Since you asked for it:

that took a backseat once those dbags had their pictures everywhere
Why would it take a backseat though?? There's been 15-35 people found dead over there plus people are still missing and rescue missions are ongoing, Isn't that tragic enough to be worthy of making the headlines at any time regardless of what's happening elsewhere??
Remember that also took place in America, I repeat America, If that happened in China or Mozambique i wouldn't of made this thread because i'd understand why it didn't make the headlines.

Now the earthquake in China that took place today which has killed 157 people and injured over 600 I can understand why it's getting little coverage, Everyone is still showing how they caught Tsarnaev etc.

The explosion is to cover up the Alien Abductions... What ignited the plant were lasers fired from the Mother Ship just before it went into hyper drive and left our solar system... FACT...

20x more killed in factory? Who cares, it was an accident. The pop tragedy narrative supersedes all. The government won't let a petty factory explosion get in the way of beating a bombing to death for support and money.

Careful... Way too much common sense and logic there...

This whole Jody Arias trial, like who gives a fuc k? Why is this on TV day after day? Is she the first woman to off her man, there must be 10,000 just like her in prison right now that we never even heard about.
The terrorists count on terror and we give it to them. We have spent trillions with our wars and intelligence and army to arm the war on terror. I could only wish we would have infused a trillion dollars into the education system in America to make it better.
The Boston tragedy was terrible I admit but at the end of the day there were only 3 deaths and 200 or so injured. This is treacherous ground but at some point you have to put a price on life. This is the only attack by terrorists on American soil in the last 3 years or so. Does that justify our response?
The war on terror is the war of fear. Keeping the fear in place to keep feeding the war machine and the anti-terror machine, that is the key.
How many more died in the plant explosion? But the news focuses us on the Muslims and the Jihad to keep us all paranoid, it is working.

I sometimes wonder how they pick the stories.
