I didn't see it get reported once yesterday on fox or cnn/bbc, I know there was a manhunt on but that was just as bad of a tragedy.
I saw that video of the dad who was recording the blaze on his phone and then the explosion goes off as he was recording, Some people were reported saying it felt like the end of the world, Just terrible stuff.

A deeper look into the Texas story is the fact that anhydrous ammonia is not recognized by the United States (thru OSHA) as a flammable gas. This is due to its lower explosive limit having been established in the 1950's and not having been changed due to the National Fire Protection Association's undue influence. Also, due to this influence, the Dept. of Transportation's 'Emergency Response Guide' has failed to recognize the needed change, and it too lists anhydrous ammonia as a non-flammable gas. As a result, many firefighters have died and been injured over the past several years in various fertilizer incidents. Plus, since OSHA does not list it as flammable, the workers do not need to handle or store it as such, thus they are also at risk.
Careful... Way too much common sense and logic there...
