My grandmother had a rare 100X100 property INSIDE the city of Philadelphia which had a two story barn on it. When she moved I rented one floor of the house which had been converted into a tri-plex. Anyway... One Sunday morning I went to the barn to smoke a doobie and inside one of the garage doors was a cherry red 57 Chevy Bel_Air with a white and red interior and convertable top and all that chrome. The vehicle was in extremely excellent condition and looked to be 100% original. I sat inside and smoked my doobie. It was beautiful. I found out later that she had rented a space inside the barn to a doctor in the neighborhood so he could store the vehicle there. This was back in 1989. Cool Vehicle.
Just felt like sharing that here.![]()

I'd always been a Ford man............but that car, along with the "67 Goat & 69-72 Charger always caught my eye.
The Challenger & Mustang are the best looking throwbacks made right now.
Agreed. The Camaro was a dud IMO and I'm a Mopar/Chevy guy. I have a '68 Barracuda with a 340, but I have always loved the Challenger.....they are damn expensive, though. ![]()

Cars that were not over weight!!!!
The Honda Civic has gained over 400lbs in the last ten years, small cars with 2 doors tipping the scales at 2500lbs+??? The Lotus Elise gained 300lbs when coming to America, and plans for the new Elise will add 250 more lbs than that. look at the "smart car" that little POS 1700LBS 38MPG and no back seat???? i had a 95 civic that fit seat 4,5 people and i would get 41MPG
10% weight reduction=7% better fuel economy
anyone see the commercial were Americas answer to the M3- the Cadillac CTS-V does a Lap around Nuremberg in 7:59.32?
well the M3 weighs 700 Lbs less
