Storage Wars

I know someone that bids and buys storage's, she says there's a few people that try to out bid everybody to run them off.

Like Dave & Darrell on the show, she said she takes about $7,000 when theres an action. These people who have retail stores hate outsiders coming in.

They run ads in the local newspapers here, giving dates and times of actions.

If you can out con the cons playing their game trying to make you lose money by raiseing the bids, they have planned out at some coffee shop before hand. You can find hidden treasures left behind.

The chick is hot...

I've been watching the show since it started.  Some of the shit in the show is totally fake.

There was an episode about 1-2 months ago where Brandi and her husband found a locker with all these super rare toys.  They claimed they didnt know what they had and they brought all these boxes of toys to be appraised at a comic book shop/collectables store.

Turns out the toys were super rare collectables / super hero toys  - older ones in their original boxes. etc.  A bunch of the toys were made by a company named Mego - which made tons of toys back in the day.

After the episode aired a friend of mine who collects toys found out ( through a website forum about toy collecting ) that the  whole storyline was "set up".  Some major Toy collector gave the producers of the show his super rare collection to use - so that Brandi and her husband made a big score on the toys.

The toys are worth over 10K.

I still watch the show - but it really bothered me with the BS staging.
