Asking a player in a nationally televised interview whether or not he'd rather have a personal accolade or team championship. Obviously he is going to say team championship or else he looks like a complete ass. Why even ask this question?? The worst part is, directly afterward people are always like "wow, what a guy. He'd rather win a National Title than win a Heisman." Are people really this blind? No matter if he would actually rather win the national title, he has to say it regardless. If I see the replay of Schad asking Tebow which one hed rather have and then praising him for saying title I will puke

Especially given the fact that he already has the individual accolade in question.  Albeit, it's from last year.  The media in general blows.

All game start times should be staggered so Gus Johnson can announce them all from an underground central studio.

Networks can pipe in fake crowd nice.

mich/colorado - kordell stewart game

Have to agree Bibendi.  Stupid softball question to be sure.
I think a lot of media types are suffering from this condition:

saw that this morning too, what a stupid question you know dam right that Tebow wants to win another hiesman so that he can become only the second player to do that.

Should have clarified basketball in general.

Texas-WVU in the NCAA Tournament a few years ago was the greatest called game of all time. There were about 10 lead changes in the last 2 minutes and Gus thought each and every one of them ended the game and went absolutely nuts. I wish it was still going on....

You sure it was Gus doing that game? Coulda sworn it was like Dick Enberg or someone else doing the game. Not positive though but for some reason I can picture Dick Enberg saying Ohhhhhh my after that game winner from Texas.

Legitimate question when we are talking about Tebow.
 
The douchebag has stated numerous times with a stupid smirk on his face that he is going to cast his vote for the best player in college football as if he would ever not vote for himself.  How are we supposed to interpret the goofy smile Tim?  That you believe it is a ridiculous topic because all awards should go to Tim Tebow?  The guy didn't deserve the Heisman last year, McFadden was a no brainer!!

Normally I would agree with everything that is being said, except in the case of Tim Tebow.Here is a kid that on spring break goes to the Phillipines,where he was born, and does missionary work.This year he even assisted in  doing circumcisions. He speaks in penitentiaries to try to help inmates turn their lives around.
 
I am not religious and do not like when he throws JC around, but in his case I believe he would rather the team win than get individual awards. He is a special person. He even has a 3.75 grade ave and was homed schooled in High school.
 
He even had Urban Meyer doing special things for people.TEBOW is the exception .When Meyer and most people meet him they say this kid is too good to be true, but they come away saying it is all true
 
In this day in age with the OJ,s, Plaxico,s. Michael Vicks, Roger Clemens and all these self destructive atheletes TEBOW is a breath of fresh air

I wish I could have Gus Johnson narrate my life. Im quite certain he could describe me tying my shoes in a way that would give people goosebumps
