Insomnia is can be a indicator for depression...highly misdiagnosed by doctors

It's possible 3rd. I've certainly been happier other times...GF passing, money issues due to a drunk driver rear ending me and medical shit that is just wearing me out financially. Waiting for the fricking lawsuit to settle and at least get all my medical back. I'm not joking at all, but that amount is up to just over 100K right now. I need that fucking money something fierce, and another back surgery also. It sucks......

We finally got the Sun back down here in Sarasota. I sat out in it for 2 hours. Very helpful. Then went and bought some of that valerian root pills Koaj suggested.

Hey Dennis, ever try Dalmane (Flurazepam) ? Stuff works works wonders. Nothing like that Ambien stuff which can fuck with ya or make ya even more tired and out of it. This stuff seems much cleaner and non-addicting. I rarely take it, but when I need one it works great. Gotta say I wake up feeling refreshed. GL man. Sleep is very important.

Careful bro fluazepam sounds like a benzo ie, zanx,valium stuff can be addictive.

Is that prescribed? I hadn't heard of it? My doc would probably write anything I ask for. Does for other stuff.

My problem is not falling asleep. It's waking up after 4.5 hours of sleep & not being able to get back to sleep. I eat well & exercise 3-4 times a week. Every now & then I'll take a half shot of nyquil just to get back to sleep.

Yeah dude, that was happening a whole lot, now it's just nothing till about 4-5:00 am

It's the kiss of sleep disater death to fall asleep at 11:00pm or so, and waking up at 2:00am....Then I would usually just give up....Sucks.

Not to say you are depressed but look up the syptoms for depression... knowlegde is power...than it  is your choice...been there, different way, never lost somebody intimate. But focus on the positive...get some  sun.

3rd, the Sun hadn't really been out for almost 10 days, but it's part of my "regular" routine down here, if it's a nice day to spend at least an hour a day in it. I live right on the water.

You are absolutely correct about those symptoms and I am a big enough man to believe that all the shit I've been through in the past two years, but especially everything since my GF died, I really might be technically depressed. I'm also not walking the 3-5 miles a day (I can't run yet, because my back surgery I had earlier in the year) and it's no fun to do alone...., and the weather has sucked, and everything is upside down and inside out since she passed....

I couldn't live where she and I lived before. Too hard, but I was so comfortable there.......

But you are correct 3rdpig. I believe it.......



And I do believe in trying to be positive as much as possble. That's why I act silly in here. Fun to joke around talking shit with y'all......

how weird is it that they will make a drug in pill form for marijuana, and prescribe that to people FDA approved, but to smoke the natural plant is more harmful to society then assualt in the eyes of the police state

before taking any SSRI i would suggest doing your own research, that shit kills your brain.

All I normally get is a few hours of sleep and have always had a difficult time staying asleep. I just recently drove back to the East coast from Vegas for the holidays and I drive the entire way except for 2 minutes.  I had to force myself to sleep those 2 hours.

When I am sleeping I tend to talk, walk, and have had sex without even knowing.

be easy, I've been wishing you could just take weed in pill form for shit, 25 years....I cough like a little girl everytime I take any kind of hit.

Sucks, but my tolerance to weed is so low, it's worth it. And a little weed last me quite a long time. I genuinely just want it to smoke a little here and there to chill.

Thinking brownies would be a good idea also,

Shrooms are fun as hell, but you can't really do anything after you've done them except just laugh your ass off and say really goofy shit , because everything looks so down wild through your eyes.

Thanks Ret. I appreciate it.

That valerian root stuff Koaj suggested helps. I have one of those "non-chain" vitamin health store and the proprietor lady spent some time with me showing and educating me on some different ideas, but in the end, Koaj sounded strong on his valerian suggestion, and I trust him. Had to try it. Very relaxing.

GL this weekend Ret. I'll see ya around.

I just have to outlast the other side of the lawsuit's insurance company for one thing. They are trying to win by attrition which is commonplace.
