Well part one I agree with, that is of course you don't conceal it and walk around town like Wyatt phuking Earp. Otherwise, criminals don't know that my Colt .45 is strapped to their chest.
Part 2 no argument. I know that stat well. I would think that a CC would be more likely to defend an innocent person before they would draw on a potential threat to themselves.
The key is to shoot the bad guy in the back (headshot preferably), that way he doesn't have a chance to return fire. That would be my plan. Otherwise, he draws first and he wins. I'm not Billy the Kid.
Take my money and beat the crap out of me.... I live though most likely.
Just like criminals kill everyone to leave no witnesses, I don't think they will wonder if you conceal or not- just shoot you for good measure.
Would you shoot someone in the back of the head if that person has the gun pointing at someone else with the risk of their gun going off and killing the other person?
You are talking about perfect circumstances here. How often will you be in that perfect situation to do a head shot blindly?
So back in the days when South Central and Compton basically had no gun control- do you think the gun violence was less or more than they are now?

A) Well if that's the case you know they have that firearm out in the open and are shooting. Answer, respond.
B) Yes. depending on the tone and level chaos of the assailant. More than likely he will shoot at anybody he sees. Save that person and save yourself. Headshot and the gun drops like the body.
C) I would imagine that's it's much higher because of the intense demand for drugs and drug turf.

And, while you're busy not doing that since no such thing exists, please point us to the section in the US constitution articulating your right to drive.
Can't wait to read all about this.
why the need to be so combative with your original response?

Which article are you referring to? The article I sent you is based on 100k people which is a very accurate way of reporting.
If they are basing as a percentage of their population then yea it will get skewed. but not based on 100k people.
Basing it on % is not skewed at all. In fact it is very telling. It is no different than basing it on a per 100K basis. At the end of the day both ways represent the number of gun related events per capita.

You are correct. I was thinking of the 100% increase of 1 to 2 homicides.
