   A CCR is pointless.  Should just be legal to carry across the board.  Like the previous poster said- it's already been proven that a mental person can pass off as a sane person and who knows when a sane person will go off.

I think anyone with a firearm or even a bow and arrow would have tried to take a shot at they shooter as long as they felt they were out of harm's way. 

With that said, what would you do if you had a gun and there are 8 rows of people in your way.  Would you stand up like Rambo, pull out the AKA  and fire away?  

I'll be like, hey Search, you doing anything tonight?  I'm bored.   Lets roll out to that park where there's always action.  Hopefully I can unload on someone.  Kill two birds with one stone- be a hero and test out my new toy. 

I would stay low, wait for a clear line and empty a full mag of 45 rounds at him - closing the distance after every shot. Hell with me if I die, I'm a clown degenerate, but if I can save some people it's better than breaking even..

I shoot at stop signs at night out of my car. It's fun, safe and darn good practice.

FYI, I am a big box.  So who knows.  I might have that gun ready and when something happens might pull it out and accidentally shoot someone else.  Or maybe just stand there and freeze like a pilon.  Just don't know until it really happens.

A quick search basically says that Texas and Alaska which has more relaxed gun control laws also have higher gun related homicides.

I think there is more fear in Texas compared to some parts of the country like California where gun control is stricter. 

You would think that people with guns would feel more secure but it might be the opposite since it's the fear that usually has them going out to buy a gun in the first place.
