What happens if your computer gets compromised? Do other people have access to your system or does it just damage the software?

But here it is.  It will see if you have the virus (Ok, it's not really a virus, but to make things easy)  It's a network worm.
 
Click on the single pc removal tool.  If you need to clean a network like Nascar then click the Network one to the right.
 
BTW, if your computer won't go to the site.  Then I can promise you that you have the worm.
 

I wonder why when I hit the big "Start" button on that page, it says I need to install Active Control X, I install it, hit start again, and it still says that Active Control X is not installed yet.

 

I downloaded all my Windos Updates first.  This doesn't mean I have that damn worm, does it Lipps?

i dl'ed the bit defender ...extracted all the files and it said my system was clean
 
then i hit close and it asked if i want to use the program as the admin, or if it worked correctly....i said worked correctly...and it closed.
 
i also did all my microsoft updates...thanks lippsman...anything  else i should know about?

Another question from a computer illiterate.
How does the worm infect your comp.?
I don't download. I turn my comp off when I'm off.Hell, I'm still on dial-up!
Should I still worry? My firewalls are up etc.

When They Create the Windows Progam , They Left some flaws in the Program.. the Virus basicly exposes that flaws, So you have to Update your windows to block those flaws (close the Gap).. The New Updates help block the Virus from infecting/controlling your computer and turning them into a mindless zombie... I hope that helps Explain what the Virus does...

It's already inside your PC if you're Using Microsoft Software.....On April 1 , The  Person who Created this New Virus basicly have a remote control to your PC

Correction, The worm gets in through the same way you get on to the Internet.... Your Connection line...

Why don't you guys try Re-starting your Computer again.. Usually the Downloaded updates won't take effect until you re-start your computer..

I just restarted and still wouldn't work. Im just trying to do the scan and see if I am clean. It keeps saying I have to install the Active Control X and when I do all it tells me is that it is not installed yet.

Im sure this means my comp is infected. Mother fucker.
