Need Advice on Luxury Bed Sheets

Been a while since I posted on covers.... Quick question:

I am looking for some 5 star hotel quality bed sheets. Does anyone know where I can get them? What the hell does thread count have do with anything? What is the deal with "Egyptian Cotton?"

Looking for something for my wife for Christmas (based on a very lose hint from her).

you can get them at bed bath and beyond...the more thread count...the more mula$$...we sell all kinds of bed sheets tho..you can get them there

Higher thread count = better quality

Get the highest thread count you can find. If you don't, the fabric ends up pilling up little balls on the surface making the sheets scratchy.

You realize that whatever color or pattern you pick out - she won't like it. Make sure she can return it for an exchange.

You can get 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton for like 55-75 bucks on Ebay.....

I have 6 sets ( 2 for my guest room, 4 for my room )
Third bedroom the bed stays unmade, unless I have an overflow of guests ( I keep all queen size beds just so I can use the sheets on all beds )

Just ordered some online at www.exceptionalsheets.com. I had a several girl friends at work say they were very pleased with sheets they ordered from this site.

I'm told they will be here in 3-4 business days. We shall see....I will let you guys know how it goes.

Careful with high thread count....focus on the cotton brand (Fields, Polo)&#xD;&#xA;Hi T count is overated, itchy and difficult.
