But no, you never see those. I only see threads about what this Black person did or what that Black person said. And I'm getting sick and tired of it. here's what i don't think your getting. no one posts what these fringe groups like the kkk, aryan brotherhood, etc. say because they have no support in mainstream society among whites, blacks or any other group. there's no controversy. everyone knows those people are racists who have no credibility. show me where a white celebrity or newscaster says something even remotely racist with no backlash. in fact, when any white person says something racist (like Kramer and Imus) or even arguably racist, black folks make it out to be the worst thing in the world and white people overreact to it as well.
the problem is that when black people say equally racist stuff, it's become accepted. when idiot ray nagin says he wants new orleans to be a chocolate city, he gets reelected (which really is an amazing feat of stupidity for a variety of reasons).
and my point is that obvious double standard, while frustrating for all other people, is not really a problem for white people nearly as much as it is for black people, expect to the extent that we are all better off if everyone seeks to hold themselves to an equal standard and level of accountability. in other words, when black people say something racist and everyone ignores it, that's a much bigger problem for black people than it is for anyone else.
and it basically goes back to the quaestion i typically ask in these threads which never gets answered with any response even approaching logic and intelligence, which is how can a group of people expect equality and to be treated the same as others when they embrace a double standard? the double standard is a self-imposed handicap and if you handicap yourself, others will treat you as handicapped.
