I have been with my girl off an on for 5yrs. and we are at 1/wk. I travel for 4 days so that affects it. My thoughts are, if its not good, then tell her you need more, communicate. If you're fine with once a month and are happy so beit, you've been married 30yrs, so congrats.

The reason married couples gradually have less sex over time is because they get less attracted to each other due to weight issues, kids and farting in front of each other because you don't give a garbage anymore. You want to have sex more than once a month?? Hitting the gym could be a start.

I think it has more to do with the fact that in a beginning of a relationship, you are doing it as much as possible because you don't know when/if the relationship will end so you want to get in as much action as you can. Once married? The element of certainty is present which lowers the imperative.

Friend Zone my azz. When you are talking to a woman who is taken but not getting what she wants all you have to do is show her any type of attention. Listening to her is all it takes and it doesnt even take long.

To me the last part of what you said is very interesting to me because of the psychology of how things are. Of course it interests me because of how women are and their control of the p'ssy.
I get the fact that kids cockblock etc....
But women tend to put out less in time by instinct because they know they have the hook in deep enough. So by the 4 year its down to a couple times a month......until!
SHE decides there is a purpose and now she will and is making time 5 times a week when its been 3 times a month "because she doesn't feel like it"....
Men in general are dummies and take what they can get when they can get it so they I guess you married guys fantasize that your wife "wants it" and bam! She's pregnant again and then the next kid is born. Now the workload and stress is greater so the man is lucky to get p'ssy once a month. That is until she has a reason. But what I originally find interesting is how men out there actually live this way? Accepting women that run their lives even though they are in denial that they do not get to do things you naturally think about anymore. Or if there ever was an opportunity outside of your marriage? Thanks everyone who contributed.  No, once a month is not enough after 30 years.  We both go to work out 5/6 days a week, and honestly, are in teriffic shape.  We will be retiring in a few years--could retire now.  By no means rich, but very comfortable.

I will take your advice and communicate.  Will especially listen more and be more supportive.  I believe I have taken her for granted.  I get busy and forget to spend some time with her too.  I am sure you know how that goes with work/kids.
