I think the worst thing about the US is so much time has gone by. Society believes we live in a free country. Not quite. Anything that is fun or possibly has laws against it. Govt runs like the mob secretly with big money paying the ones to pass laws. Voters mean nothing, it's an illusion of a model that corruption has ruined for the future.


I compare the mob because in some areas are strong armed in giving a % of their revenues. Simply for "allowing them to do business" Store owners pay the fee not to swim with the fishes.


But people today are so used to taxes on everything and sometimes twice taxed then my favorite.....Property tax a fee we have to pay every year for owning things

My point is this. If the Govt.(IRS) finds out about that some individual had money. The government comes after you like a freight train threatening prison time if you don't "pay up" your fair share to the man.

If anyone works one hour at $10 hr. They literally owe $2-3 bucks to the IRS now. 
They take in 20-30% off the top from EVERY individual in the US who earns anything! Then all the taxes on money spend remaining.

And our country is in super debt and climbing with no hope. 

And now stories like this just remind me how crooked our sh't is along with our court system which also is in place mostly as a revenue generator for most city budgets

I think she should be given back the money the government has taken from her, issue her an apology and give her the reparations she deserves because of the way YOUR ancestors treated HER ancestors... YOU people OWE her...

It is because of YOU people she has the problems in her life she has... And I bet Not one of YOU has any shame about the way YOUR ancestors treated HER ancestors...

Yea Salty, I agree I hate driving on finished roads or being able to go to a grocery store and get whatever I want. I hate having an education or even the facade of safety whereever I'm at. It's highly overrated. I think I might just move to the Congo so this c*cksucking government can't take any of my money. It's sickening.

Oh and no way in hell does a person making $10/hr pays 20 percent in taxes

I guess you missed my point Bill that our government should have plenty of money that any money ever earned or royalties due if anyone owns anything is paid to them. They get auto paid everyday from 90% or so from of it's LEGAL citizens and what is our debt deficit? Exactly so you are saying our govt is tip top and on the ball?

I'm not looking up numbers to get into exact numbers but how am I wrong about 2 bucks out of $10 per hour come out and are gone from paychecks. Sure you can argue FICA and SS but point is at $400 week only about $320 is spendable. That is if you have no additional deductions for healthcare, dental, vision, and 401k etc......

So how is that "no way in hell?

We need people to pay their taxes so that the gov't can spend billions on a war on drugs that doesn't work, destroying foreign cities for usually no good reason, rebuilding those cities, and first class air fare for thousands of politicians all over the country.  Have no fear though... we get to choose between a douche and a turd again in 2016.  Things will be better then.

Our whole culture is built around tax evasion for the well-to-do.  The average person has no idea how everyone with money socks away their assets behind "trust funds" which basically turns almost all of their income into "investment" so they only pay capital gains taxes.  They pay nothing on inheritances.  Corporations move money offshore.  A rich guy's wife will sit on the board of a non-profit organization that really does nothing (or it will be something like the school their kids and the kids of other rich people attend).  He donates $100,000 to them, takes a tax credit, and that's her salary, tax free to the organization.

Mitt Romney paid an effective rate of 14 percent.  What did you pay?  Probably a higher percent of your income...

That means the Wet Seal company in question isn't racist either. They just think their product line sells better when it's represented by blonde blue eyed women. Don't they have a right to make business decisions which are in their best interest too ?

I think it would be great if a white singer boycotted white people. That would a great self promoting media even titling the CD "Not for Whitey"

One problem is that 50% of the voters are to busy watching-Dancing with The Stars-and too lazy to get off their fat a-sses & actually vote-thus you get ding bat representatives who waste taxpayer money. This country is becoming full of uneducated fat slobs.
