Wow, I can't believe this hasn't hit the main stream media. This happened in Massachusetts.
 
And you can argue until you're blue in the face but there should be limits regarding this type of FUN and someone needs to be held accountable.

Is this a prank?

You mean to tell me several adults and a parent handed an 8 year a fuckin loaded Uzi machine gun and actually beyond all imagination, allowed the boy to fire it?

These people (including the parents), need to be given a mandatory psych and brain presence evaluation.... be charged with reckless endangerment/manslaughter 3rd degree by breakfast tomorrow morning.

I haven't been around for the better part of the day but when I watched the news there wasn't one word about it and I'm relatively close to where it happened.
 
Firing a gun is one thing but an uzi is just flat out insane. I own 2 9mm and 2 high powered rifles and I would be nervous firing an uzi for the first time, nevermind an 8 year old.

and the bad part about it is, more then likely they will get away with it because from what i read its legal let the child fire it with parent consent or supervision

I fired an Uzi in Arizona years back. I'm a big guy and that power scared the shit out of me.
 
So the ATF says none of us responsible citizens can ever own one but yet they allow a no age limit on firing them at a gun show?
 
 
I smell U.S military and recruiting lobbysts involved in this fuckup.

The only place you can legally fire/train on a fully automatic rifle is in a warzone....after you join the military 'a course. Wtf are they talking about?

I believe you are insulting the majority of us by referring to these assholes as "parents". Anyone can have a child, but few take the responsibility that comes with having one. The same can be said about gun ownership. These MFer's are probably NRA fanatics that think they're defying the government even at the risk of putting their child in danger. Too bad the 8 year old didn't start spinning around as he was firing. He might have done the human race a favor by taking out his "parents"

funny.. the father is a director of emergency medicine, so gotta be a pretty intelligent guy...

Bizilj told the Boston Globe he was about 10 feet behind his son and reaching for his camera when the weapon fired. He said his family avoided the larger weapons, but he let his son try the Uzi because it's a small weapon with little recoil.

i remember when i was a senior in hs the whole senior class went away for the day to the poconos and one of things that you could do was go to this gun range.  I actually shot an AK47 and an Uzi and a .44 handgun.  Never even touched a gun before that in my life.  the guns were chained down so you couldnt really turn around and shoot anyone standing behind you, and the instuctor made a point of showing off his marksmanship if anyone got any ideas. btw this was in 98 about a year before columbine..there is no fucking way in hell this could happen now

There has been an update to this tragedy but I question why the father skates away from any liability when IMHO he was the one who OK'd this. If you read the comments my username is kodakmoment and I question the politics behind this tragedy.
 
Only in TrashASSachusetts does someting like this happen.
