Here's some help, for those who are interested.

The ecig is more for people who want to stop smoking cigarettes, but still smoke in a way. So you're really not quitting nicotine unless you buy no nicotine juice.

I have tried chantix before and let me tell you, if you want to completely stop smoking and quit any nicotine affiliations then this is for you. It works really well, unfortunately I quit using chantix then started back becase my wife was still smoking. It's not easy staying off smokes when someone is smoking right nest to you.
