I got a DUi when I was in college out in Colorado - i had a pretty high limit (.19), but I'm 6'3 230 - I was definitely drunk and should not have been behind the wheel ( I actually was not out driving, just quickly gave my buddy a ride to his car in town)
BUT I was not to the point where I couldn't see straight or any shit, I remember all of it. Plent of people get dui's and are not blinded drunk...I made a mistake and shouldn;t have been driving, but I wasn't going to hurt anyone
I did get a lawyer - in retrospect it was useless - he didn't do anything I couldn't have done - maybe it's different elsewhere, but in a college town (boulder), we lined up and took our punishment - no liscense for months, shitload of fines (my god I pissed away so much money in fines) - community service at 6 in the am on Saturdays for months....
it sucks, but at least you didn't kill anyone - just don't do it again

So that means that it would take you more drinks to get to that point then somebody who weighed less. Your level of drunkness was exactly the same as someone who is 5'10" 180lbs who blew a .19

Second...be glad that your fucked and NOT DEAD...
Third...you are not even 21 so you are going to triple fucked if Cali laws are like PA laws....Im pretty sure you lose your rights to drive in PA until your 25 if your underage and caught with a DUI
Fourth your BAC is pretty fucking high they are going to slam the shit out of you since most states are now using the BAC as a guide line for punishment.
Fifth you destroyed public property and totaled a car..many states are slamming people if they have an accident...had you went off to the left and hit someone you would be looking at doing a couple years in a State Pen...had you seriously hurt someone you would be doing a decade or so...
Lastly....you need to get into a REHAB pronto...it will show remorse to the court and it will look like you hit bottom and this is your wake up call to change your behavior and drinking life....
Costs run with a good lawyer in PA with fines to be about 10 grand Im sure its more in a welfare state like Cali ...BUT Your alive, you didnt kill anyone ...your not in a wheelchair or eating your food from a blender so Its going to blow....but we all know that a Drunk Driver doesnt get caught until he or she drives drunk around 130 times or more sooooooo....
