Have you made or lost money gambling this year?

As the year winds down figured i&#x27;d throw this question out there to you guys. Simple as this. Have you won or lost this year and how much? I&#x27;m up about $1,600 on the year... with $50 units and plays ranging 1-5 units. Had a high point of about $3,300 but still happy with ending the year in the black and hoping to do a bit better in 2011. What about you guys?

Down about $500 for the year, but most of that is from my trip to vegas last January. Since then, I&#x27;m within $50 of being even(!)

up a little over 2,000 in nba so far, down in nfl, and had a decent year in coll football.  was up over 3,000 before the nyg/dall game on mnf when romo got taken out and went double or nothing  on dallas.  was happy as hell when they were up before romo went down, then my heart sank when romo got hurt.  i guess thats the high and low of gambling lol.  but about even with everything.

Down 15k its all due to very poor money management and risking wayy more then I should have. A few games ended in brutal loses. It takes very bad luck to lose 2 games I had risking 3k on the moneyline. Dolphins ML against the Steelers and Rothlisberger clearly fumbles the ball at the goaline on 3rd and goal and the dolphins recover it but after review the ref states they cant tell who clearly recovered the football and it was awarded to the steelers giving them 4th n 1 and they kick the game winning field goal. Another game was Bobcats &#x2B;1.5 and I took Bobcats on the ML for 3k and they are up on the Jazz by 20pts in the 1st half they collapse in the 2nd half and lose by 1 point. THE AGONY AND PAIN

Through today, only College Football and NFL, I am down $300. I play $50 per game and typically play on about 5-8 games per weekend. Need to make a run and finish in the plus side. Of course I would prefer to be positive, but with all things considered being down only $300 is not all that bad.

Perhaps this doesn&#x27;t count as "gambling" but I am up 10K against the books primarily on arbitrages and futures. On small day to day action, I am even to slightly behind.

I am right now even for the year with NFL...I am up 2 units (10% bankroll) on NFL preseason...Tough year, but my style usually keeps me out of trouble...

I keep track of every dollar that I win or lose from gambling.  For the year, I am down just over $1350.  October was a great month for me, as I hit a lottery ticket for $330, then I had a good month in football where I won $100 a few times.  For the year though, it&#x27;s tough to stay ahead.

like the amount of responses to this question. Interesting reading them all. New year right around the corner lets hope everyone takes what they learned in 2010 and improves in 2011
