send prizes for contests that you win?
 
I won a hoodie for 17th place in the latest "Ultimate Race" contest they held. Haven't heard a thing, even though I emailed them asking about it.
 
Granted it's just a sweatshirt...but I figured it was a good litmus test to see if you actually get paid for winning.
 
Has anyone out there ever received a prize for one of their contests?

We contact EVERY winner within a week of winning a prize.   And we respond to all emails that come in.

You are 100% off base here.

What's your email address?  Send it to me in a Private Message.    I'll go see our contest coordinator today and get him to contact you - again.

Plenty of guys have gotten their prizes from Wagerline.



Most of them have so many hats/sweatshirts that when they win, they will hold a cool little capping contest so the rest of us has a chance to win too.

I never got my hoodies for finishing 19th in an Ultimate Race - apparently they don't send prizes outside of cash to Canadians.  Which makes no sense at all since they're a canadian company.
 
When I finished 19th though, I never got an e-mail even telling me "good finish but you are gettign squat for it"

Yes, the company is based in Canada - but we don't manufacture clothing here.   Our users definitely dont want Rizz sewing a hoodie for them.

Production and shipping originates in the United States.

Yes, it sucks we can't ship merchandise across the border to Canada, but this is clearly stated on the rules.   All cash prizes we can send out in Canada.

Yeah I know it's stated in the rules & that's why I never made a big deal out of it at the time but no one bothered to explain the manufacturing part of the equation till you just did now - im sure you could understand why that would make no sense to me before

But c'mon - you guys work in Nova Scotia, you telling me you don't have wagerline hats & hoodies there for yourselves?  Just order an extra 20-30 next time and keep them for the prizes

We have considered that but there are solid reasons why we cant do that at this time - just cant go into detail on it.

We havent completely thrown out the idea of shipping merchandise to Canadian destinations in the future...just not at this time.

I know that answer isnt really helpful - best I can do right now.

That will be a negative. Never got one and never responded. I am a cop and have been putting in some long hours, so I thought my wife might have reponded for me. Checked this morning and she did not. Not sure what the issue here is. Let me know...Thanks

Interesting development we have in here.
 
We have a cop stating that he has never claimed the prize he deservingly won and has never received an email confirmation and on the other hand we have a covers team chiming in stating that the cop did indeed receive an email and that he even responded to it.
 
If there wasn't a cop involved this wouldn't be as funny. The cop versus Covers, who's not telling the truth here fellas?
