Reverse psychology can work well. When told not to do something, it's like the mind doesn't hear the negative, "no", and all the brain retains is do it, as oppose to not do it. Plus, the more you say don't, the more they are curious to do.
So instead of saying don't do drugs, you go with something like, "go ahead, do drugs, be a loser, ruin your life." Once you tell them to do it, they may be less likely to want it.
It's always more exciting to do what your parents tell you not to do, and if your parents say, "go ahead," it totally deflates the excitement. Just make sure if you say, "go ahead," that they take responsibility for their decision. One thing is for sure, if you don't look out for your daughter, and she doesn't look out for herself, she will get taken advantage of and will get hurt. If that happens, hopefully she'll learn from her mistake, become more mature, and become a stonger person.
