Not dead....they tried to kill him.....but he is still alive.
I doubt you will see him this season....and yes Kim Bauer will make an appearance this season.
The current storyline only has a week left in it.....then (as always) it will turn into something different for the final few hours.

I dont want to ruin anything for anyone....and I myself dont even know 100% for sure what's going to happen.
But you read rumors and stuff like that.....
One things that you just KNOW will be a storyline has to do with this "shipment" that Jon Voight is waiting for. They did not cast this well known actor to have only a few minutes on camera. He was in redemption and now a cameo last night. This will be huge.
Also does Jack have to still deal with the douchebag Senator? Or does he get killed in the raid (my preffered option lol)
Does Tony try to flee the country? Does he help Jack with this "shipment"?
I would not be supprised to see if the Jon Voight character somehow works for Charles Logan. How does he have such access to the white house details???
Many other things as well....dont want to ruin anything.
One little thing to look forward to is what's coming up in the next couple of years for 24.
They will start filming Day 8 this April. That will run in the normal slot of January 2010.
Then they will film a 24 movie for the theaters....most likley we will see a little mini-series on TV to set up the movie. With the last hour of the film to be in real time. Also it will be all overseas with more of a feel like Redemption had.
