scal, heard it was great. looking forward to seeing it. also heard the break scene is just brutal, but i suppose it had to be to fully captivate the experience.
real life, took that guy over 45 minutes start to finish.. absolutely terrifying.

The main stream media said there was in-theater vomiting and fainting during prescreenings which is positively ridiculous...
The good thing was that I went into the movie mentally preparing myself to watch it like I was a resident observing surgery in an operating room and found that the best parts of the movie ended up being his personal struggle with loneliness/the elements/hallucinations/grief/thirst/starvation in addition to intolerable, unimaginable pain...and an altered future.
Not since Tom Hanks in Castaway has an actor so skillfully played a role and expressed such a wide range of emotions in which h/she was, for all intents and purposes, the only one with any real screen time.

With Titanic I was simply referring to the fact the ship goes down...we all knew it...so let's get on with it...still most people didn't want that movie to end (and we ALL saw it)...
