iphone problems - feedback wanted

We are looking for some information/feedback from users experiencing these issues:

What were the...

Dates: 06/14/2010

Times: jeesh, don't recall...

Location: Chattanooga, TN

iphone settings: Actually using a Samsung Rogue.  Don't know what settings you want

Were there any recent changes to your iphone: No

What are your firmware versions:
S/W V. u960.CI23  (that's c i 2 3)
PRL V. 51893
ERI V. 51893
Browser V. 6.1 VEN
OTADM V. 5.3.2
Media Center V. 3.1.5
MSUI V. 15.0
H/W V. U960.06

wi-fi settings: No wifi

Carrier settings: Verizon

Has it/when did it start working again: Always been able to view forums, log in, access everything I've wanted to access... but never been able to post comment in a thread.  Like others, comment box does nothing, can't even click it.

Does the problem appear/reappear at certain times of the day/week: No

Is it working now: No

Were any other web sites affected: Not that I've noticed

And any added comments about your situation you may have noticed?:

Hey guys there was a short period of time when I couldnt access covers at all from my iPhone but now I can get to the regular site but have never been able to post in forums

this is on your end covers

make a mobile app for iPhone

CT I've always been able to access covers with my i phone.It would be great if you could figure out how to let i phone users type.

 

Just FYI i phone users can type in some other forums.

For those with a Blackberry, download the Bolt Browser. You will be able to post at Covers with no issues.

As for iphone users...they DO have the Bolt Browser for you guys too. Perhaps it'll work too.

Dont waste your $2.99 the bolt browser for iPhone doesnt work either

AMAZING HOW THIS ISSUE HASNT BEEN FIGURED OUT.....THERE HAS TO BE SOME TYPE OF APP OR SOMETHING THAT WOULD BE ABLE TO ALLOW U TO TYPE...

ANYTHING IN THE WORKS HERE?

I CAN PAY BILLS WATCH PORN SEND EMAILS WATCH LIVE TV READ NEWSPAPERS WATCH YOUTUBE LISTEN TO RADIO AND MANY MORE COOL THINGS....BUT I CANT POST PLAYS OR SEND A GL TO A FELLOW CAPPER ON COVERS....

you guys need to make a mobile site. theres something wrong with the reply box when using safari on the iphone. its weird as hell.

im posting this from my iphone using cloud browse a 99c app that uses a remote computer and allows you to log on to a firefox browser its slow and kinda crappy but hell its better than nothin! i even got an emotion in there sweet!

I think I can help out with posting in threads with an iPhone. What I have done is to go to your notes and type what you want to post. Then copy what is in your notes, then go to the covers site. Select the area where you normally go to type a reply. (Note: Sometimes it is tricky trying to get your iPhone to select this certain area where you are trying to paste) Paste what you typed and press submit. Sometimes its a pain trying to get the option to paste in that field, but I tried it last week and have done it several times. Hope this helps

I just got a smartphone ( Samsung Galaxy 5) and so far I can't post either.



I also am getting my ass kicked trying to figure out this damn thing.

I see a trip to Myrtle Beach and Lippsmanland in my near future, I am sure he has these damn things figured out

Yeah I can't post with my HTC Evo either. I've heard that you can post with an application called "Bolt" but it is not compatible with Androids. Can anyone confirm if Bolt works?
