V Tech is better on Defense right?  Now with the evolution of T-Mobile coming in the game and changing the whole operation of the offense from power run and drop back pass to spread option and flat out school yard fun......I can't see how a slow, boring, fading team like BC stays in this one.  I love those Hookies!!!!!  I'm pounding them.  Good luck Blackjack, Fish, Mr. Johnson, and Biggeiii, Lefty, Hawkeye, and Jaybirdy!!  Lets go get em on this one.  Should be the play of the day!
I think this one goes over as well.....for what it's worth.

Virginia Tech -4.5 (2 units) vs. Boston College - the ACC Championship in Jacksonville will be a good one today.  I was also burned that one Thursday by these two teams and that VT collapse in the last 2 minutes.  That one really stung and started a bad slide that almost crushed my bank, but luckily I've bounced back big time and it's time for that sweet revenge.  I'll stick with this pick for the second go-around because Beemer's team is just plain better.  It'll be their special teams play that wins it for them here.  I can see them somewhat struggling on offense but the defense will be huge and like I already said the special teams will also.

Wow, pretty much no love at all for BC here.  I only see Coverditty going with BC, and that's to cover by 1/'2 point.  I'm going to stay away from this game.  There's a lot of reasons to like VT here - special teams, revenge factor, 2 QBs healthy, and they're just playing very well of late.  They deserve to be favored.

But if it were all so easy we'd all be printing money, and surely the spread would be much higher.  VT has many advantages, but they don't have one thing BC has -- Matt Ryan.  He's a difference-maker in the clutch and showed it the last time these teams met.  It could happen again.  If you recall the BC-Clemson thread, same thing -- everyone was all over Clemson, and BC won by 3.  So much for the free-fall.

I like both programs so will sit this one out.  Good luck to all who bet it, but I would caution against laying too many units here or treating this like some anchor on a parlay.

I like VT, but the BC quarterback is a gamer and it wouldn't suprise me at all if BC won this game outright.

What about the under in this game? Teams coming out a little tight and the historical games seem to go low. The scary thing to me with VT is just like the Thursday night game Brian Broehm came back against Rutgers. Matt Ryan's coming back with a late score to screw the spread. Although, I do think that VT might create a few turnovers and blow the game open.

I'm going against the crowd and taking BC in this one.  I don't really know why........I don't particularly like BC, but I expect them to keep it close with an opportunity to steal the game late.  There is a lot of good Boston karma going around these days (Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics).

BC played bad for 3 quarters in the rain and then turned it on.  I'm playing B.C +4 and Duke -8 for the early games.

I agree with the majority and feel Va Tech is the best play of the day.  I see it as a 5 unit play and give the rationale in my post today regarding my picks.  I am 14-2 the last two weeks with recommendations on this site.  Skeptics can look back and check it out if they wish.   Good luck to all.

don't count BC out of this one,they went down to 3 hostile places this year as dogs,GT,VT,and CLEMSON and won all three games outright.this is just the type of game that this team has won over the years.they never win when or cover when you think they will

LOW on 'dre Rushing Total=59.5.

VT SU 1st Quarter.
UP on 32 buying 15.

I have B.C. closing a Parlay at +20.5, that's all I'm gonna do as a side, as I view this as a tight one, per our OLine hurts.

I'll tell you what guys, I watched the entire first game b/t these two on a very slow night at my work and VT just blew that game.  They had no reason losing that game and even then they didn't have their center, and two quarterback scheme that is working so well right now.  Hokies show up today as they have the last five weeks! The only thing scaring me is that the line got up pver -4 and my bookies dumb ass is too hung over to answer the damn phone??  GL everyone, taking Hokies i Hope!!
