People tend to weight the whole underdog thing a little to much. Personally im a fan of the home dog but tonight is not the play. Tulane beats Utep pretty easy covering at least -7.5. Give me a BIG play on the UNDER also...thanks ill be here all week

I'd hedge the bet with the over however.
|National tv does that to a team. Expect a god one
but I'll lay a td and look for a win or push.

-7 is a good and accurate line imo

we get this "analogy" every week....Home dog wins outright...The line is too weird...vegas wants you to take tulsa...blah blah blah...look what happeend last week with USF vs Cin...people think of the same thing and they were wrong...people should really look at teams rather then throw a bunch of crap into the mix...take tulsa tonight people. UTEP has been simply abysmal on the defensive side of things and is currently allowing a whopping 493.0 total ypg. The unit has been burnt for 215.7 ypg on the ground and its hard to be successful giving up that many rushing yards. Last game, the Miners surrendered 486 total yards to Memphis, which gained 270 of those yards on the ground. The defense forced just one turnover and came up with no sacks and that continues to be an issue for the Miners. On the campaign, the Miners have managed only four sacks and that simply isn't enough. Aaron King has accounted for three of those sacks, as he is the team's only legitimate pass rusher.

Both teams have the type of offense that can put up points in a hurry, but Tulsa clearly has the advantage on defense and that should help it prevail on the road in this one.

Not exactly a lot of competition.  Then they lost, but beat the line on a Boise State team that sleep-walked through the second half. 
 
UTEP has gotten trounced by a couple of the big boys and Memphis (in a classic road-game-after-pulling-an-upset loss).  But, they played Buffalo close, beat New Mexico St (3-4) and gave Houston their only loss.  They also have two weeks to prepare and are at home.
 
This really is the perfect trap, but not for me.  Give me...

Tulsa has no game without at least one half going under 28 (not even Boise). 

Same for UTEP except for the Houston game. 

1st Half O/U is thirty.  Seems simple enough...

Tulsa seems to be the correct play but with UTEP at home and Tulsa offensive line trouble, it makes it a no play for me

no one is betting UTEP to win, they do suck and the people believe they suck also.
Tulsa should roll. IMO

the over is a lock because both teams can put up points and give up alot of points. if this game is soooooo easy then why isnt the spread 13.5 - 15. the trap has been set

how can you so easily say over is a lock??? Tulsa has hit the under 8 straight. i can see it hitting the over but def isnt a lock by any means... im playin over 29.5 first half anyway

I locked in a 7pt teaser for $1500 with Tulsa-1.5 & under 66.5.....I see alot of running the ball tonight which will hopefully keep the clock running, and I think Tulsa has the edge considering they have the better defence in my opinion......TULSA 34 UTEP 27...... good luck to everyone
