The correct answer is SC -10. I gave Vandy mad props last week when there was so much love for Miami (OH). But today is another story. SC can run it up and run it up quickly. By the time Vandy figures SC out they will be down 17 and unable to catch-up.

here much...but being in the great state of SC I have to throw my tow cents in on this one....I took VANDY last week against a MAC team based solely on strength of conference and that worked out...but tonight I like the Cocks...wait a minute did I just type that....the Gamecocks for clarification...last year's collapse came due to shaky QB play and huge losses on defense...this year ride the Gamecocks until they lose a key player/s on defense...O Line comes together tonight and they run a good bit on VANDY.......also hoping Garcia gets a shot at QB...if he can play as good as he can drink and fight cops then he may be the answer for SC...

I like the Gamecocks here.  Yeah I know about the Toisday night dog, but consider that historically there have been no Thursday night games in September until recently.  Typically they have been more in the middle to end of the season.

What sticks out to me here is experience, which is worth more at the beginning of the year.  Vandy returns THREE starters on offense and six on defense.  SC has seven on off, and ten on def.  Throw in the revenge factor and I'm not sure Vandy even hits doube digits.

Had some time to stop in today. I'd like to thank everyone that sent out their thoughts and prayers for my wife  The wife is getting better but still needs surgery so all of your thoughts and prayers are keeping her strong
 
I didn't have the chance to look at this game but just wanted to come in and say hi and good luck to everyone.
 
I'll be back on the threads soon maybe by this weekend I'l have enough time to really take a good look at the games but if I find anything for this one I'll try to find some time to stop back in to throw in my 2 cents.

Have to go with the ESPN home dog on Thursday, and cant wait for the traditional ESPN Tuesday night under lol, both are high percentage trends, go too see ya around Big D and all is well, It's a shame to like SC but having to go with the home dog lol

South Carolina vs. Vanderbilt +10 (1 unit) - the Game Cocks are after revenge here from when Vandy beat them last year at home as the #6 team in the country.  The Commodores have returned 7 defenders from the 17th ranked defense last year.  Each team scored 34 points in their opener, although neither of which played a difficult defense.  The SC offense looked in disarray throughout the game vs. NC State, and they better shore up the OL if they want a repeat performance tonight.  The Vandy secondary is top notch so points will be tough to come by for SC.  On the offensive side Vandy will rely on senior QB Chris Nickson, who is a dual threat through the air and on the ground.  Spurrier will go with Chris Smelley tonight, and his name says it all pretty much.  Nothing spectacular as far as public numbers are concerned... and with the SEC opener for both teams on national tv I'm more prone to taking the home dog against a shake offense.

Vandy at home all night long......SC is a goofy team with above average D.  Smelly isn't the answer.  Vandy beat them last year.......they will do it again.  Number is over inflated because of the 34-0 stomping of NC St. last week.

Vandy is a very good team that is underrated. I thinkVAndy and the points at home would be the play but I already am to exposed today GL
