First off LSU1905 -= nice pic. Thats why I bet. To make money and get girls like that. :)
I agree with most people on here. This line should be double digits. Penn St has won everygame by this spread I think except for OHIO ST. I believe this may be the best team in college football on both sides of the ball./ They may not have the best offense but its efficient. ANd they have a great defense. Heck Heisman hopeful Beanie Wells was shut down. I dont think Shonn Greene is better than Wells IMO. And I dont think Stanzi is better than Pryor. Once again, this line is too good to be true. But heck with it, Im baiting. Penn St wins big.

Strong Opinion
IOWA 23 Penn St. (-7.5) 24

Penn State has been an underrated team most of this season (7-1 ATS),
but the line has caught up to the Nittany Lions great team and my math
model favors Penn State by just 6 ½ points over a good Iowa team that
is better than their 5-4 record. The reason for favoring Iowa in this
game is not the small bit of line value but rather a 16-59-1 ATS
situation that applies to Penn State. That angle plays against unbeaten
teams at this stage of the season and Penn State also applies to a
negative 31-77 ATS favorite off a bye angle. Iowa is certainly capable
of playing with Penn State, as the Hawkeyes have a very strong rushing
attack (5.6 yards per rushing play), a better than average quarterback
in Ricky Stanzi, and a good defense that has allowed 4.7 yppl to teams
that would combine to average 5.4 yppl against an average stop unit. I
respect Penn State enough not to make this game a Best Bet, but I’ll
consider Iowa a Strong Opinion at +7 points or more.

so you think maybe Joe Pa, in his 2 weeks of preparation, didn't notice that Shonn Greene is Iowa's whole offense? maybe Penn St will come out in pass coverage on first down and give Iowa a nice soft belly to run into?
that sure would be a break for Iowa... cuz if it were me, i would stack the line of scrimmage and make Iowa throw the ball every single play... because if they throw the ball 30+ times, about 6 of them will be interceptions, and 2 of those will result in PSU TDs... and if they're lucky, 1 will result in an Iowa TD...
but Joe Pa doesn't know what he's doing, so he probably won't figure that out! but lucky for him, he still has the far superior athletes, and has had 2 weeks to put togtether whatever cockamamee schemes he comes up with, so they should still have a fighting chance against an over-rated Big 10 team that's biggest selling point seems to be that they find a way to lose only by a little bit...
Man You Couldn't have Said it Any Better~~

Penn St. vs. Iowa ML +270 (1 unit) - just for the hell of it here, I don't really think it'll happen. I'm using house money still so I might as well take the PSU opponent every week since they are my team and I have a feeling they'll lose to someone stupid. I call it a contingency plan but you can call it whatever you want... 1 unit means nothing to me.

im right here in iowa city today and its crazy cold with flurries. Winds predicted to be 10-25 mph. I'm a huge iowa fan but penn state is where the money is at. it will be a close game but penn pulls out the victory late in the game. Iowa has no pass game. If penn state stops shon green on the ground penn blws them out. penn state 21..iowa 10.....might even take the under....just trying to help!

I read a lot of smack about PSU getting worked by Florida if a game were to happen...I don't buy into that hype, Florida got worked by a not so great Mich last year and they were favored by 10.
PSU isn't a push over, and they have earned the ranking thus far. Not a PSU fan really, but I'd like to see Joe Pa go out on a high note, he's a football lifer and deserves it.
