Sharp, surprised to see you on Oregon.  Makes me think I must be missing something.  It looks like Ok State is the runaway winner on thi one.  This isn't because of perceived Big 12  strength because I think the defenses are so horrible there it is hard to evaluate the teams.  But I do think the Pokes have a very  solid offensive team capable of running or passing to move the ball.  It is that balance which will overcome the Oregon defense.  OSU and OU have the best defenses in the Big 12, which doesn't require them to be great but they look good enough to hold Oregon down enough to outscore them by 8-17 points.  I have made money on them all year and feel most fans have underestimated them.  This is a very good team that returns most of the players next year.  Still studyng before saying the strength of the bet, but at least 3 units is what I see.

Not a big fan of this game...but I am leaning towards OK State and the UNDER. State has a pretty good DEF and I look for OK State to win here by a couple TD's and the total to be around 62. I'll be back tomorrow to make a final play.

Remember today's early game Rutgers came into the game scoring a lot of points to and that game went UNDER. Don't base your play on this guy...he's no better than any of us...he's a broadcaster not a capper.

Better DEF? OK State allows less points actually and plays in the high scoring Big 12 where every week was a 75 point total.

i'm on the UNDER with a slight lean towards oregon.  i've got both teams scoring in the 30's in this one.  GL

who said CMich couldn't lose?  i posted stats... those stats pointed heavily to CMich... that's not a rant... i was betting against a team that had demonstrated they were the worst team playing this bowl season, based on the fact their best win came against ULLafayette... no other team had a less impressive resume this season...

if i'm not mistaken, these threads are about posting the best information you can provide... sorry if you tailed on CMich and lost, but the numbers supported the play...

i'm not playing this, but have you seen how chip kelly does with more than 1 week to prepare? the numbers are staggering.

from Rob Moseley's blog in the Register Guard-
"In 2007, the Ducks scored 48 points in the opener against Houston, 53 coming out of a bye week against Washington State and 56 in the Sun Bowl (against USF who had a top10 defense). Notice a trend?

This season, the Ducks scored 44 in the opener against Washington, 54 coming out of a bye week against Arizona State and 65 coming out of a bye week against Oregon State. Notice a trend?"


IMO- ducks found their swagger and rhythm two games ago against arizona and haven't looked back. i'm very nervous about this game but when i think about our last two games against solid pac10 teams (arizona & oregon state), and Chip Kelly's history with time to prepare, Oregon plus the points looks very attractive if i was still betting.

Two very high scoring offenses everyone see's this as a high scoring affair but Ducks+9.5/under 82 seems to cover the most possible senarios other than an out and out shootout and both of the defenses should be shamed by the press  into playing better and I got a feeling this one goes under

Bang on the Ducks and the Under here.  If you are an over player, hit the Rice game......far better chance there with no real defenses on the field.  Oregon finished the season strong.....take the dog and the under and finish the day fading the public!!

With you Irish.....I like the Ducks to run clock with their ground game and keep the score a hair under the total....I also do not like Gundy's play calling in big games as he tends to get outcoached which will be easy to do against Oregon....
 
It should be an entertaining game.....

This game will show just how weak the PAC 10 is!!  OK ST will fucking pound the ducks...  Hunter will go for 170+....OK ST will dominate every aspect of this game...

This past offseason Oregon player Doxley drowned and died.  He was from California.  While in preparation for the bowl game, the Ducks took the time to go and visit their fallen players grandmother.  Plus Masoli has been given a vote of confidence by his coaching who have named him the starting qb for next season.   

A lot of emotion plays into these bowl games.  Missiouri was a far superior team to North Western but NW had a lot going for them going into the game.  I am having a hard time picking a Pac10 team over a Big12 (the best conference in football).  Fuck it im locked in on Oregon.  GO DUCKS!!!
